I've only used it once, but so far this thing is awesome. It fits my head without being HUGE or snug. The heating elements are throughout the top and the sides, so it heats the whole head nicely. I deep conditioned on high for 25 minutes. It seemed like after about 10-15 minutes, some of the heating elements on a side would stop working. I would click it off for a minute, turn it back on, and was back in business! It probably has an overheating mechanism so it doesn't burn out. The hot level gets nice and toasty. I haven't tried the low level yet because I personally like an extra toasty deep condition on my hair. I love it. So far, I consider this a great purchase for the cost. I use my bonett and blow dryer with a cap for short (5-10 min) deep conditions/masks, and use this one for longer sessions (15-30 min).Edit: ok so I've had this and used it twice a week for 7 months and it still works perfectly! I actually read the instructions and the high setting is just a quick heatup. I use the first of the two settings now, not the high one. This was a GREAT investment for me. Probably the best hair care tool investment I've made in years.

Okay. So this is NOT a steamer. It’s a heating cap. If you’ve ever gone to the salon and had a deep conditioner put in they usually place you in a plastic cap and under the dryer. That’s because heat helps your hair absorb the moisture and benefits of the conditioner in your hair. This heating cap is perfect for deep conditioning! My hair is thick and long and curly and I’ve neglected it for about 2 years as I have a (now toddler) and could never seem to find time to care for it properly. I thought it was so dry and damaged that I’d have to cut it all off :( in a last attempt at nurturing it I made a deep conditioner (Honey, Olive Oil, Peppermint, Oil & ACV) put it on my hair and used this heating cap. My hair. Is SO SOFT! And manageable.This device does not stay on continuously. It does “shut off” intermittently and then heats up again. I placed it on high and it was relaxing and safe to use around my toddler. It wasn’t too hot when I took it off and it’s easy to clean and store.There are no instructions but it’s pretty self explanatory. There is a plastic cap you place on your head first. Then the outter heating cap itself. There is a low and high setting.Love love love!

Works great! It gets hot when set on hot, not lukewarm like some. I don't know what some ppl are talking about their's don't get hot. Must have gotten a defective one. But mine works and I'm happy with it!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This product heats up nicely and is the perfect size, it also has a adjustable string in the back for someone like me with a smaller head. I also see some reviewers complaining that it only has one heat setting it actually has TWO, just push up the switch once for the first heat setting and push it again for the second heat setting, I switched back a forth between the two while I used it to see if there was a different and there is a significant difference. All in all if you’re looking for an affordable heating cap I would recommend this one for sure.

I love it. It definitely gets the job done. I have low porosity hair and adding heat to my deep conditioning routine has been great for my hair. I also love the way it doesn't over heat. It shuts down for a while then turns back on.

This mobile hydro cap is awesome. The temperature is adjustable, easy to store, fits well for my small head with the draw string, ideal for travel. I can feel the steam penetrating my scalp and my hair feels awesome.

L There are 2 temperature control - High/low, the highest temperature can reach to 65 degrees(it reach higher if you see the video),the lowest would be 45 degrees. Choose whatever suitable for you but don’t force yourself to the hottest.There is waterproof liner inside, help to keep moisture in, tightness can be adjusted freely, I was worry it would be too small for me, since I have a big head but there is plenty of room.I always put treatment on my hair first before put on the shower hat then the steamer cap for about 20 -30 minutes, wash my hair with warm water and I can total feel and see the different, didn’t cut the split end away but still able to feel silky, shiny and smooth, oh I feel like a woman again instead of a bird nest.This is a easy home relaxation and hair treatment as well. I have 4c hair, this deep conditioning heat cap can heat up perfectly, so that the products in the conditioner penetrate deep into the hair follicles. After use, the hair quality, shine, and my curly hair are greatly improved. The regulator has 2 levels of temperature adjustment, I like the first setting. I tried the next highest temperature and think if I have a lot of hair, I will need that setting to make it absorb better. If you use a shower cap and then put it on, it is very suitable.

Love this product! Great value for money, and comes with a complimentry shower cap. Was worth every penny as I use this to do a conditioning treatment when I wash it

I was really nervous about receiving this steam cap, especially after ordering it and realising that it probably came from China, but having used it quite a number of times, I realise my worries were unfounded. It is a fantastic product. Heats up well and is very simple and straight forward to use. No faffing about, just plug it in and switch it on (apart from on and off setting, there're 2 levels to the on button). They were generous enough to include a plastic cap also. It is definitely worth the money, I don't think you would regret buying it.
