Little Big Shot Super Nozzle

Try this nozzle before you use chemicals or call a plumber to clear a stubborn grease clog! Maybe not the most conventional use for this little gem, but it has now saved me $250 in plumber's fees. I'm not particular about what I put down my kitchen sink so every 3 years or so, I get a nasty clog. My neighbor introduced me to the Little Big Shot when I asked if he had an auger I could borrow. This high pressure nozzle has now twice cleared clogs in less than 10 minutes including dragging my hose around and removing the cleanout cap. It is holding up great, probably because I don't use it for anything else and it lives in a revered spot in a kitchen drawer. Who cares that it's made in China when it works this well and pays for itself 15 times over in 10 minutes? Worth every penny for me.

I have had one of these nozzles for over a year and just ordered four more. They are what they are in that they cannot make a fan shape or create greater pressure than what they receive from the garden house. For anyone buying this unique little nozzle, you need to understand how it works. As a retired engineer I think it is simplicity itself. The nozzle is made up of four elements, a silicon rubber nozzle, the brass main body, the control nut, and three stainless steel ball bearings. There is no rubber washer as your garden house seas directly to the silicon nozzle. When the control nut is rotated the three ball bearings move such that the silicon nozzle is squeezed tighter and tighter reducing the inside diameter. The effect is somewhat like you pinching a garden house to lessen or shut off the flow. Some reviewers have stated that the nozzle leaks and does not shut off entirely. The main cause leaking between hose and nozzle is usually a cheap hose with poor quality stamped fittings. Always buy hoses with Solid brass fittings both ends. Since you use no rubber washer, the connection is from brass fitting to silicon rubber which typically makes an excellent seal. It is true that it takes a fair amount of torque to completely shut off the nozzle. With normal pressure you may still have a very very almost invisible stream which has not caused me any concern. I never use a garden hose nozzle to shut off the water except for a few minutes. When you live in Missouri where it can get very hot in the full sun doing so can often destroy a perfectly good hose. ALWAYS turn your hose off at the hydrant if you are done. These nozzles are rugged enough to drive over in your yard and according to the K-CO website are built here in USA by disabled veterans and as a Vietnam vet myself that makes buying this nozzle even better.

What I like best is that it is MADE IN AMERICA. It is sturdy and easy to assemble on to the hose. Several different settings for water pressure. Easy to adjust. However, it wasn't the high pressure I had hoped it would be. I wanted to use it as a pressure washer but this was not possible. This may be because I have a well system and not city water. However, I would still recommend it to anyone. Should last for a lifetime!

I live in Southern California and I have a in-ground swimming pool in the back yard. I also have a neighbor whose property is a virtual forest of huge, old, California live oak trees. They are beautiful to look at, but they shed tons of leaves, seed pods, dirt, dust, bugs, etc., every day, and it all seems to end up floating on the surface in my pool. I got this hose nozzle to help with sweeping all of that crud into the skimmer, so it's easier to collect it and get rid of it. The nozzle works great, exactly as I had hoped for, and much better than other hose nozzles I've tried. It shoots a stream of water twice as far, easily reaching everywhere with a stream that I can adjust to best motivate the floating debris toward the skimmer.

I saw this on the shelf at a box store - then saw that it was a couple of bucks cheaper here. I already had a standard hose nozzle. I wanted the extra pressure that this one promised to deliver. That super fine jet stream that they picture seems like it would be great for washing away the stubborn stuff. But that fine stream actually has no power whatsoever (and I have plenty of volume and pressure at my spigot). I could barely even feel it on the back of my hand. I don't even know what that might be useful for. When I opened the nozzle up further, I got a pretty standard amount of pressure from the higher volume sprays (as in, it was about what I get with my regular nozzle). While the construction quality seems quite good at first impression, this thing really failed to deliver on performance.

For the price you can’t beat it. It’s simple, durable, made in the USA by veterans, works really well and half the price of everything else. If you prefer something with a handle obviously this wouldn’t be for you otherwise I recommend it. Wide open is a stream about as big around as a number 2 pencil. Tighten a little bit and it goes farther with a smaller stream. Also can do a mist and a very fine stream.

Not much to say, this works so far, the price was fair. I needed a jet stream nozzle for the pool-hose to wash the deck and to reach out 25-30 ft with a good hard narrow stream. This Super Nozzle is doing the job. I originally bought this to fit on the hose and attach to my pool net extension handle. A big storm blew mud into the pool and some didn't want to come loose. So I attached the Super nozzle to hose and strapped to the extension handle, and the hard jet spray forced the mud loose. I am happy so far with this nozzle.

Does NOT work as advertised. This is nothing special and we would have been better off buying the normal styles of water nozzles for the garne hoses.

I have purchased many similar products like this over the years and can safely say this is by far the best one I have purchased. I connected it to my hose and it easily reached the fascias and soffits on my 3 storey townhouse

The video showed a powerful jet going quite a distance, looked good and what I needed to reach the roof I need to hose down. Not quite the case. My Hozelock adjustable attachment goes further. I put a 60psi 18lpm pump in line to keep the pressure up and still the Hozelock attachment (£5.00) went further. Nice solid bit of kit, but not what the video shows in terms of power. It must have been powered by more than a household tap.

Load of rubbish! I have fairly decent water pressure, but this has minimal power, nowhere near as good as shown in the advertising videos. The pressure they have in their videos must be well beyond the adverage person has, esp in a UK home. waste of money.
