This is like the stapler I had in high school in the 60's. Yes, I am old. I have had a ga-zillion plastic staplers that last from one week to several months and then begin to jam. This beauty does what it's supposed to do with no bells and whistles: it finely staples papers, does not jam, and has some weight to it so you know it's going to last. Be sure you use quality staples and it will really perform !IF it doesn't, I will update this review, but so far I'm happy ! Highly recommend and the price is the best !!!

When my unknown brand stapler of 17+ years broke. By the way it broke because someone in the office (while was out) decided to place plier stapler staples in my little standard stapler, thus causing it to break after 17+ years of use.Fortunately, I found my new found love in this lightweight stapler. It works just like my old one, and I like the fact that it is made of all metal. Although, made with all metal, it is surprisingly very light. But, is sure gets the job done. I have no problems with stapling 15+ sheets of paper when using this wonderfully made stapler by Bostich.Best replacement ever. I hope to have this guy for 20+ years.

I am a nut over this stapler. Like seriously. About 10 years ago I was the billing specialist for a service company. The branch I worked at had 22 technicians who performed a total of 1000 to 1200 calls monthly. I had to take their work slips from every call, remove the carbon sheets and staple the remaining 3 copies to varied paperwork and file accordingly.I DID A LOT OF STAPLING.This product is balanced well and has a good grip. I became swift enough to pull all the carbon sheets in one quick motion then arrange 3 sets of paperwork in my left hand divided by each finger and staple all 3 with my right hand... I was kind of a stapler ninja.Fits well in the hand, good weight, very durable.I may be the only one, or at least the only one willing to admit it- But I own 3. I've had the model number ingrained in my memory.Never will I buy another stapler.

I bought this stapler after having used a similar plastic one. Such a difference! This stapler is not only more study, but staples smoothly and with greater power. I find I can staple more precisely, too, because the stapling action is so much more smooth. Thanks Bostitch for making a stapler right! (And thank you Amazon for the great shipping and handling!)

Yup, that's right people...this stapler...staples. Paper. It pushes little metal staples into a stack of paper, then with the advanced technology of the little staple-plate, bends the staple so the papers stay together. Pretty amazing. Easy to use. Very happy with my stapling projects.

The stapler works as its supposed to.

This is a sturdy stapler that's more than good enough for use on a regular basis. It's never jammed for any papers I've stapled.However, it's also advertised for "bulletin board tacking", yet I've found it seriously impractical to use this stapler on bulletin boards. It jams at least four out of five times, and the staples are hard to remove when they jam. If you put up a lot of posters, consider choosing a more heavy-duty stapler.
