DPX Gear Heat Hiker Black

I believe S30v is a higher end stainless made with edge retention in mind. It's shaving sharp out of the box.. I dont know how tough the caribiner latch is, but thats not a feature i care about. Its made to hold on walking through brush not as a climbing instrument. Its more comfortable than expected, for what it is anyways. It's a bare bones knife, literally skeletonized. As a neck knife, its pretty slim. A button up or anything but a skin tight shirt will conceal it. The paracord has a break, so of you fell with it around your neck and it catches on something it won't hang you(probably). I wouldn't want paracord break or not around my neck if i was attacked, but you could snap it off yourself. It's attatched to a knife so that worry is offset a bit. The price was very fair compared to the msrp. This is a lightweight tool that is slim, easy to carry, and seems of good quality. A good backup, or a tool for small tasks indoor and out. I dont see these hardly anywhere, far from the most popular model. Probably would of been more popular if they went for $70 from the jump. Two ounces of steel worth having.
