Great selection
Great selection of sample wood stains. I am kinda reluctant to get into this and didn't want to spend money on something I probably wouldn't use more than a couple of times. This sample set has been excellent for that, but it also gives me a chance to try various shades as well, since otherwise I would not have bothered. I have not yet tried these out yet but for the reasons mentioned I am very happy with this purchase - and would recommend to anyone unsure of where to start or what colour would be best to match an existing item as you have options with these. I think this was great buy and if I do get into staining wood later on then this would probably be what would get me there.

Easy To Use
Good colour but several coats to produce a match. That said it did do the job as expected

Perfect Shade
I tried several varnishes to use on plain pine and every one of them looked Orange. I tried this in Natural Oak and it is fabulous. The inexpensive wood I stained looks like a lovely warm shade of Oak and looks far more expensive than it was . It dries very quickly too which is brilliant. I am so impressed with it, I canβt recommend it enough

Easy to use wood stain which did a great job!
I used this mahogany wood stain to revamp an old pine mirror. After protecting my worksurface and masking the mirror glass, I used two coats of the wood stain applied with a lint free cloth, letting each coat dry before applying the next. It was so quick and easy, it took more time to do the preparation than the staining! I finished the job off with two coats of wood oil. The whole process took around three hours, including the time to clear up! The mirror now looks good in my hallway and there's enough left in the bottle for a similar sized project!!
