Great to keep Fitness DVDs organized
I use this for all my workout DVDs (in particular, Cathe). I photocopy the back of the DVD case (on the workout DVD) which has the descriptions of each DVD and I put the photocopy in the book and then I put the number on it in the upper corner. Works great. Then I can open my book and decide which fitness DVD I want to do and then I see the number; then I just put the tab to the number on the organizer and it pops right up. I've had two of these organizers for many moons (held up exceptionally well) and they used to be in the $35 range. Bummer about the new highly-inflated price, but I had to buy a third because I have so many fitness DVDs. Another thing which is CRUCIAL and why I LOVE this organizer... the DVD cases that come with DVDs have that little circle in the middle and you have to kind of push it in and then try to yank up the DVD to get it out of the case... many of the edges on the circle areas around the hole of my DVDs are cracked due to the effort of having to pull up the DVDs while pushing in that circle. With this organizer, you do NOT have to try to push in that stupid circle thing and yank up the DVD (hoping not to break the DVD in the process). I'm sure many of my fitness DVDs would no longer be useable if it weren't for this great organizer. It has saved me from trying to yank them out of their original cases.

Fine item.
Good price, very easy insertion of cd's and dvd's. Not quite up to the compny's 100-dvd one but at $13 vs. $40 you can't complain. This is the only way to store large collections like the complete Perry Mason (100-unit) and Have Gun Will Travel (this item).

For DVD Storage Try Discgear
Great way to store and archive120 dvd discs. When economy of space matters and you are a collector, the Discgear selector is the ideal purchase. Over the years the price has increased markedly and the addition of an optional light was not really necessary ... preferred it as sleek and unadorned as possible ... and the faux leather over time can dry out and separate from the encasement, but, nevertheless, this dvd storage is the way to go.

This item does what it is supposed to do, ...
This item does what it is supposed to do, but is not as efficient or 'user friendly' as the CD carousels that we can no longer find.

Bought one, then another one, ordering more
I am reclaiming space previously occupied by plastic cases. I considered the less expensive boxes but liked the idea of a storage system that was easy to add new dvds. At this point I have set up the binder along with the catalog of the discs in their numbered sleeves. There's free online software to create catalogue. Being able to create a master binder that is sorted by genre, actors etc. adds a lot of flexibility. When you amass a collection, you forget what you have and so being able flip through the catalog is nice.

Very cool unit. Seems sturdy. I like the light and the capability to lock it.
