Love it
I love my dyson vacuum. I already had this vac head along with the carpet one. After years of use, the vacuum head stopped spinning. This is an original product so the size, quality, and functionality is perfect to get me back to cleaning! If you dont have it for hardfloors, buy it! Its so much more effective than the carpet one on low suction.

Perfect soft roller
Such a good attachment for the vacuum. The soft roller is great for wood floors. So easy to swap out and change for another roller. Can be a little tricky to turn to get the roller out to clean, but manageable.

Clean hard floors better, faster. Struggles with large debris.
To start: I confirm that this does indeed fit on Dyson’s latest model of stick-vacs including the new V11 Outsize. I use this on my V10 absolute; I purchased this for my mother to use with her V11.Let me touch on why a soft roller such as this might be practical for your home. If you have many hard floor surfaces such as wood, vinyl or tile - using this roller will help you pick up debris quickly including pet hair, food debris, dirt, grass clippings and dust. Unlike a rotating beater bar that scatters debris on hard surfaces, this soft brush with its microfiber-like surface captures fine debris easily. It is especially good with small grit, like sand. Dust bunnies are no match for this! I use it in the laundry room constantly, especially after emptying the dryer lint trap. Now, where this doesn’t excel as well as a firm brush - even on hard surfaces - is with larger and coarse debris. Anything larger than a small pebble can be problematic. Dog kibble is especially hard to capture. Dropped some peppercorns? Don’t use this... unless you want to have an adventure hunt of course. If you have a lone piece of kibble, better to pick it up or use a hand attachment as this tool will just fling it around. This tool is also not intended for use on carpet or rugs of any size or height. Yes, it will pick up things like grass on a rug surface but it won’t pick up any grit embedded in the fiber. This is not a multi-tool. It’s made for one type of flooring.Strangely, it does OK with Cheerios and other cereal. Things that are flat-ish should be no problem. Round things... a no-no.If you do buy a V11 Outsize, there are a few reasons you should consider this tool. First, the outsize comes with a multi-floor brush head called the “High Torque XL”. That head is great for carpets. It’s practically a mains-powered vac replacement. But the head is nearly 12.5” wide... this soft roller brush is much narrower at around 9.5” wide, so it’s perfect for navigating into narrow spaces such as around your fridge, kitchen cabinets, near the trash can and doors. If you have an especially large space that may not matter to you. But if your space is small and largely hard flooring, this brush will be good for your cleaning purposes. Also the V11 doesn’t come with a soft roller. I wish it did... because this tool is pretty useful overall. To summarize, this brush is built reliably and will likely last as long as your stick vac. It’s perfect for pet hair and tight spaces; and of course it’s dyson’s genuine product. It’s pricey but was worth the expense for a product I use almost daily.

Perfect for Hardwood floors
I have a Dyson with the carpet attachment and was looking for the hardwood floor one. It’s pricey but MAKES A DIFFERENCE ❤️❤️😤 don’t buy an off brand. It’s worth the money and I don’t have to sweep my floor. It’s so strong and picks everything up. I’m so happy

Great vacuum head
This vacuum head is amazing! The original one scratched up the hard wood floor, but this one does not and still picks up all the dirt very well.

I am so angry about this brush and so happy I bought it
When I decided to buy a Dyson, I went big. I got a VERY expensive model and proceeded to be really disappointed with it from jump. Our house is nearly 100% hard surface (half hardwood and half LVP). The Dyson (like all vacs I had up until that point) just did a shoddy job on the LVP. To really get it clean required using a regular broom, then a dustmop, then the Dyson (to be clear - not a clean freak - this is just the life of a mom with cats).Flash forward to when I finally decided to suck up the money (see what I did there) to buy this overpriced part for my overpriced Dyson. I am here to tell you that it was like getting a brand spanking new vacuum. The suction power on hard surfaces felt like it was 4x better and it - get this - vacuumed up EVERYTHING. It was finally getting edges and the size of it means I can get it into looks nooks and crannies.I'm angry that this just isn't included in a vac that was over $1k. That's insane and shame on Dyson. That said, don't be like me if you've been on the fence about this thing. Just buy it. If you have hard surfaces, this attachment is a game changer and well worth the month, even if it's a little ouchy to have to spend even more money on your Dyson.
