So soft and warm. Had to buy another one. Keeps me nose/face/neck nice and warm in the winter and windy conditions.

I wanted a buff for running in the cold. I went with wool for the no-smell properties. I run 5-6x/30 miles per week, and if I hang this up after a run, I can wear it for a whole week without it smelling or getting gross. I’ve worn it down to 6 degrees and have been comfortable with it as a headband/ear warmer/face warmer/hat, even on the day it was so cold the sweat started to freeze.

This is very lightweight but warm and long enough to wear many different ways. Very useful to have.

This buff was on my packing list for our trip to see the Northern Lights in Fairbanks, Alaska. It helped us endure the night at minus fourteen degrees as we viewed the gorgeous magical lights!!! Yes, I would purchase it again and it washes up perfectly and hangs to dry overnight.

I've used other material gators/buffs before this one but I like the light weight of this one as well as the much smaller amount of material so when you take it off, it's more compact to store in a pocket. It's not as soft as polyester fleece ones but it's not itchy. It's nicely comfortable and would recommend for reasons stated.

Took this “just in case” when climbing a glacier and it ended up being a lifesaver! It stayed dry and warm even after hours of wear. Now it’s a permanent fixture in my pack. Merino wool ftw.

This buff is the most comfortable of the winter buffs that we picked up. Perfect fabric tension and warmth while remaining breathable in an Idaho winter where it would not stop snowing! Will certainly look into another if and when this one fails.

One of the best cold weather items I’ve ever purchased. Ordered it between two ten day stints of field work in below freezing and windy conditions all day. Huge difference vs. my cool max buff in warmth and keeping wind off the back of my neck. So effective I didn’t have to use jacket hood under hard hat which is more desirable for peripheral vision.
