This is definitely this most amazing pair of headphones I've ever worn. I heard them first in Best Buy and decided even then that they would be worth the full MRSP. However, I feel as though I got them on a bargain at the price that I paid. In my honest opinion, I even feel as if they are better that Beats by Dre, especially the newer model ones. Since I'm a soldier, I do a lot of working out. I workout with these on and it's as if I'm lost in the music. The bass comes through just as clear as the much more higher pitched notes. When you put them on you get an immediate feel of noise cancellation. While I'm on that, the noise cancellation design of the headphones could be better, but that's not what the point of these headphones is. The point is to make you feel as if you are standing front row of a concert, whether it be rock or rap or even classical, and you still get that same sound.Update- 17 Feb 2014Like I stated before, I'm a soldier, so I workout a lot with these on. One of my negatives about these headphones is that if you get sweat into the mic of the audio jack, it starts controlling your iPod. You will no longer be able to control the volume, and it'll go to voice control all on it's own. The only positive about this situation is that it only lasts as long as it takes for the sweat to dry out of the mic. I just wish that they could have done something different about the mic. Maybe put something protective over it.Also, when I make calls, the mic always picks up everything around me, instead of what I specifically speak into the mic. Even when I hold the mic directly in front of my mouth. I understand that these are headphones for listening to music, but if you give me multiple features, I'm going to use every single one that applies to my daily life. All in all, I still do not regret buying these headphones one bit.

I noticed that so many people suddenly posted 1 star reviews and none of them owned them so I decided to write a review. I purchased these headphones about 2 weeks ago and they are great headphones. I get complements on them and the sound quality is better than most that are 200. I would say 200 is high for any headphone but that is the going rate now. Be very careful with Monster warranty though they are only one year and require the receipt, purchase from authorized dealer, and a bit of difficulty with their service. I didn't give them a perfect score because they could look better like the vektrs, $200, and could use a slight sound boost but that can be adjusted with the right computer or an amp.I would suggest these as well as the vektrs, sol republics, (very replacement friendly because you can buy the parts separately), and sennheiser.I do not suggest the beats unless you like heavy bass and don't mind needing a replacement after a year.

I love how my music sounds through these. That being said, my only complaint....besides the horrible customer service from Monster...was that I can't seem to get them to consistently advance to the next song. You are supposed to click the volume button 3 times to skip to the next song but it barely works if at all, I tried clicking it just twice and same thing. Kind of disappointing because this is one of the reasons I bought them. When I called Monster to see about getting a replacement pair the representative was rude and condescending, he finally agreed to send me another cable but that didn't help. He then went on to say it must be my phone but I tried them on my Iphone 5 and then later on the 5s and everything else works fine, other than skipping to the next song or the prior song. I was very disappointed in the customer service and will be hesitant to buy from them again. This is the second pair of monster headphones I've bought, the others were the turbine earbuds. Also, I primarily use headphones while I'm working out and they definitely get sweaty quick....so for people who get these for the gym I'd say maybe skip it.

Are you kidding me? These are fabolous....ok, here is my story...I have been researching headphone now for the past 3 weeks. I originally wanted the "Beats" why? Cause you would be on the popular list? Maybe....but after trying them on in the store, I was highly dissapointed. Plus I listen to mostly Classic Rock, Heavy Metal, pretty sure that they are geared towards Rap and R&B....not this girl at all! Anyawys, so then I tried the Monster DNA, which I got to plug in my own music to try out...yep, you got bought them for $200.00....took them home plugged them in again pretty dissapointed by the distortion that I didn't get in the store....got my $200.00 back and started researching on Amazon and saw there for $69.00, read the reviews and thought what the hell, I'll give them a try. Just arrived inthe mail 1 hour ago to my office and all my co-workers are jealous....they are pretty awesome....clear, crisp, enough thump so your eyes don't bug out, no distortion....diamond in the rough for MONSTER!!!!

I had a heck of a time finding good-quality on-ear headphones that didn't cost hundreds of dollars. At under $80, these fit the bill. I bought them to use while running--the various pairs of earbuds I had been using always jostled out of my ears and had to be pushed back in frequently during any run. These on-ear headphones stay on, even through an entire half marathon, are comfortable and have good sound quality. Additionally, they do not block out so much ambient noise that they are dangerous to use while running in the city. I find I can still easily hear cars and other noises as long as I keep my music at a moderate level. I've had these headphones for about two months and have used them during several workouts.

Ich habe mir diesen Kopfhörer aus verschiedenen Gründen gekauft. Als Profi-Pianist suchte ich einen Kopfhörer mit einem lebendigen und powervollen Klangbild. Zum Musik-Hören und nach Möglichkeit auch zum Anschluss an mein Digitalpiano. Eigentlich war mir klar, dass dies kaum zu erfüllende Anforderungen an einen Kopfhörer sind. Auch besitze ich verschiedene KH, die diesem Anspruch nicht oder kaum gerecht werden. Der Monster DNA OnEar hat mich total positiv überrascht! Ich habe ihn mit 7 anderen KH im Direktvergleich getestet. Sennheiser Momentum, Monster Diesel Vektr, Monster Diamond Tears, Marshall und einige, deren genaue Bezeichnung mir entfallen ist. Ich selber hatte vorher hauptsächlich einen Sennheiser HD 650 im Gebrauch. Der DNA hatte von Allen das lebendigste Klangbild und überzeugte mich mehr als teilweise wesentlich teurere KH. Ich habe einen ziemlich breiten Musikgeschmack und habe ihn mit allen möglichen Stilen getestet. Hier im folgenden die Dinge, die mir aufgefallen sind:Plus:- sehr schöne, durchsichtige Mitten, leicht angehobene Bässe, aber nie übertrieben, sehr klare Höhen- gute Räumlichkeit- guter Schutz gegen Geräusche von außen, die Umwelt bekommt ebenfalls nichts mit von der Musik, die ich mache oder höre.- wirklich guter Tragekomfort, auch über Stunden- KH ist sehr edel verpackt, Schutztasche und Kabel strahlen Qualität aus- die Überraschung!! ebenfalls sehr gutes Klangverhalten mit meinem Kawai ES6 Digitalpiano. Klangdetails wurden hörbar, die mir mit anderen KH schlicht entgangen waren.- insgesamt: begeisterndes Klangbild, mag den KH am liebsten nicht mehr abnehmen.Minus:- mir fällt nichts ein!Tip: wer eine Verbindung auf große Klinke (6,3mm) braucht, sollte unbedingt auf Qualität achten. In einem bekannten Elekronik-Fachmarkt holte ich mir ein Verlängerungskabel und einen Adapter auf 6,3 mm von HAMA für insgesamt ca. € 16,-. Ergebnis: Ich brachte beides direkt wieder zurück, da der Klang des Klavieres sehr schlecht war, man hörte praktisch nur Mitten. Außerdem gab es einen Wackler zwischen Adapter und Kabel. Für insgesamt € 30,- kaufte ich dann eine 4-fach abgeschirmte 2 1/2 Meter Verlängerung von Goldkabel und ein Adapter von Monacor. Das war außer der Entscheidung für diesen Kopfhörer der beste Entschluss. Alles passt, und beim Klang gibt es einen Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht. Man glaubt nicht, wie sehr eine gute oder eben schlechte Kabelverbindung den Klang beeinflusst.Fazit: uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung und wie immer problemlose LieferungIch hoffe, allen Interessenten mit meiner Einschätzung geholfen zu haben.

Ich habe bisher noch nie eine Bewertung für ein Produkt geschrieben. Von diesem Kopfhörer bin ich aber so überzeugt, dass ich meine Erfahrungen mit anderen Teilen möchte.Der Kopfhörer hat einen super vollen Klang, den ich noch bei keinem in dieser Preisklasse erlebt habe. Der Bass ist knackig, aber nicht so übertrieben, dass man nichts anderes mehr hört, die Mitten und Höhen kommen super klar rüber. Habe mehrere Kopfhörer dieser Preisklasse getestet u.a. auch von Bose oder Sennheiser, allerdings konnte keiner der anderen dem DNA auch nur annähernd das Wasser reichen. Und für Lauthörer kann ich den DNA auch nur empfehlen, das ist mit Abstand der lautetste Kopfhöhrer, den ich bisher in der Hand hatte. Wenn man die Lautstärke voll aufdreht, gehts schon bald an die Schmerzgrenze.Auch das Design finde ich personlich ansprechend und der Lieferumfang ist auch beachtlich: Tasche, Tuch, zwei Anschlusskabel, einmal mit Steuerung (funktioniert aber nur bei Apple Produkten einwandfrei) und ein Kabel ohne der Steuerung. Dadurch hat man auch den großen Vorteil, dass wenn das Kabel mal kaputt sein sollte, kann man es ohne Weiteres auswechseln.Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Der Tragekomfort könnte etwas besser sein. Wenn man den Kopfhörer eine Weile drauf hat, fangen die Ohren schon mal an zu glühen und für Brillenträger könnte er bestimmt nach längerem Hören auch irgendwann unangenehm werden.Trotz dem mäßigen Tragenkomfort gibts von mir trotzdem 5 Sterne, da mich der Sound einfach umgehauen hat, und um das gehts nun mal bei einem Kopfhörer.

I've spent quite some time listening to various headphones in several shops and for the money this one is very good overall. The sound is crisp an doesn't give the impression that part of the spectrum is missing as it happened with some others (some quite more expensive than this) . Bass frequencies are well present but rarely overwhelming. It performs well with a wide range of music and pretty decent for classical and jazz. It sparkles with pop, rock and disco. All of this while isolating pretty well from the outside. I use them on the tube notoriously noisy carriages, while keeping the volume to a comfortable level (I don't like keeping the music too loud).If you don't just blast hip-hop but want a good all rounder for the music and the comfort, this model fits the bill.Note that the volume keys work only with Apple products. The microphone instead should work for most phones although given how well they isolate you may end up shouting like Dom Joly in Trigger Happy TV.

Eigentlich schreibe ich selten Erfahrungsberichte. Nur bei diesem Kopfhörer, der bisher kaum Bewertungen hat, war es mir jetzt doch wichtig.Über den Zeitraum von einem Jahr habe ich mir lange überlegt, welches Teil ich mir anschaffen soll. Habe unzählige Kopfhörer zur Probe gehört.Ursprünglich wollte ich einen Beats HD oder Studio kaufen, da die schon wirklich super aussehen. Allerdings konnte mich nie der Klang überzeugen.Irgendwann bin ich auf den DNA gestoßen (Testberichte). Nach dem Probehören war ich begeistert.Der Klang ist dynamisch, kraftvoll aber nicht unangenehm aufdringlich.Hauptsächlich geht es bei mir um elektronische Musik. Dazu kommen Soul, etwas Rock, manchmal Klassik. Also Bunt.Der Bass ist wirklich wunderbar. Kräftig, aber nicht so, dass er alles andere platt machen würde (wie teilweise bei den Beats).Für mich eine absolute Empfehlung! Ein toller, ausgewogener Klang!Ansonsten sitzt er ganz gut auf dem Kopf. Für mich als In-Ear-Fan noch etwas ungewohnt.Die Ohren werden da natürlich nach einiger Zeit recht warm. Aber man gewöhnt sich daran.Er sieht auch eigentlich viel besser aus, als auf dem Foto. Ich habe den Schwarzen. Was man auf denFotos nicht sieht; an der Seite ist die Oberfläche Chrom. Schick.

Ich kann jedem der sowohl Klassik als auch Rockmusik hört diesen Kopfhörer nur empfehlen.Er gibt Bässe sehr klar und nicht verzerrt wieder, was bei anderen Kopfhörern dieser Priesklass absolut nicht der Fall ist.Mitten und Höhen sind sehr ausgewogen sodass man sich gut auf jedes einzelne Instrument konzentrieren kann.Die Verarbeitung und der Sitz ist hervorragend und sehr bequem. Kein Knarzen und sehr weiche Ohrpolster. Sie sind mir desöfteren runtergefallen und funktionieren Tadellos. Auch das kopfhörerkabel ist überraschend super. Hab sie jetzt 2 Jahre immernoch mit dem original Kabel in benutzung und es funktioniert immer noch trotz eher starker beanspruchung.Vollste Kaufempfehlung von mir!Ein kleiner nachteil der weichen Ohrmuscheln ist, dass Sie bei mir an der Seite gerissen sind, naja man kann nicht alles haben denke ich. Auf die sollteman einfach besser aufpassen.
