Kipling Challenger II Backpack

Best back to school purchase! Great price, great quality! My daughter loves her pink "monkey backpack," and I'm so glad to send her off to school each day with such a durable bag that services her needs so well. The sizing is just right for preschool - it can fit a folder and notebooks, and has a separate pocket for her lunch. Washes really well, looks like new after each wash. I love the vibrant color and the durable quality.

I am a grandmother and I have some back and neck issues. I have found that carrying a back pack is much easier and less painful to do than carry a purse and/or briefcase. Before I retired, I carried a slightly larger one that would hold my laptop and files. When I retired I started looking for some that were smaller, but that I did not have to give up carrying 'essentials' (lol). A year or so ago, I found this one. I have loved it. The silver color makes it unnecessary to change because it is a good neutral color. It has lots of compartments/pockets. It can work with a MP3, there is a place for a phone and it is light weight and very durable. I bought this one because I wanted another one for when I finally wear out the one I am carrying. I get a lot of compliments on it and I am often asked where I got it. Everyone from young girls to seasoned citizens like myself have admired it. I carry it EVERYDAY and EVERYWHERE. Also, it is comfortable to carry, even or especially 'fully loaded', like mine usually is. I highly recommend it, especially if you have back issues and carry a large bag.

I found my first Kipling bag--in blue but almost just like this brown one--in Hanoi in 2005. Paid $4. Those were the days...This bag is my day-bag for everything, even small grocery stops. Having used the old blue one daily for ten years (and it still has some life left), I anticipate this new one will go the distance, too. I did snag a few other Kipling bags in Vietnam years ago, having recognized their high quality. But this little back-pack is my very favorite.

Although I understand a lot of people get this backpack for their elementary school kids, it's a great day backpack for adults too! :P (And I got the pink - super cute!!) I wanted a small backpack that I could take on hikes and outings in lieu of my purse which is rougher on the shoulder. Quality seems good and it's super light. Looks small but is spacious. The hidden pocket is also great.

This is just what I am looking for in a backpack, lots of room and lots of pockets, I bought 3 different colors. Then red, violet purple and silver glimmer, I wear it 7/24 lol. Very happy with the color and the material. Kipling never let me down ever. I highly recommend this backpack

Light and durable. Size is smaller than I expected but still holds a lot of things. Great size for teenagers. I am 5'5 and it looks good on me. But I think it would be too small for male adults. It looks super tiny on my husband who is 6'2. No extra pockets on each side.

I love this back pack! It isn't quite big enough for school but its amazing quality and has a bunch of pockets. It definitely is expensive but I think you get your moneys worth. The fabric and zippers are nice quality and hold up strong in outdoor settings. Overall I think this backpack is a great comfortable day pack.
