is the mouse clicking quiet?

Overall, yes. The click of this mouse is very satisfying. If you are referring to the sheer volume of the click, it is about average or maybe a little more quiet than an OEM mouse from Dell or HP. As far as the tone of the click is concerned, it is a tight, well formed, high pitched tap, and not a clack like some mice give you. The benefits to this mouse as I see them are: - Price - Comfort (very comfortable to use) - Features (has forward and back buttons) - Unifying receiver (in my company, we've basically standardized on Logitech as this feature alone makes it worth our $$$ to fee the ability to combine mice and keyboards of any series so long as they both support the unifying receiver - makes replacements and upgrades a breeze). It is NOT a low audible low pitched thud like some newer mice are giving. It is NOT the same as the high or low pitched clicks you can get from different ultra premium mice of different brands / styles.

Will reciever connect a logictech keyboard with the mouse

Yes, the nano receiver will connect any wireless keyboard. I have the K360 keyboard and a M510 using the same receiver. Save your extra receiver in the mouse. Hope this helps!
