When talking about saddles it goes without saying that what works for me may not work for another. But with that said this Selle Italia SLR Boost really works for me. First, I like Selle saddles and have had three. The saddle I am replacing is a Selle Italia Superflow Gel Max., a 143 X 280 mm saddle. I am much happier with this new saddle for 2 reasons. First, the SLR Boost is a 145 X 248 mm saddle. I expected it to be more comfortable generally and specifically when I am riding in my drops and it is in spades. Second, although my old Selle and this new one are both designated LE saddles by Selle, this new saddle has a much wider ergometric opening that extends farther toward the front of the saddle so I am experiencing less perineum discomfort with the new saddle which is a good thing. And finally, probably for all of these reason, I just find this to be a very comfortable saddle for short or long rides. I am 6" 1'' and weigh 190 lbs.

I've tried literally 30 or more saddles in the last 3-4 years, in addition to three professional bike fits. Yes, really. I don't even want to think about how much money I've spent trying to get comfortable...but most of the saddles go to eBay after a couple weeks of painful rides. This one is different. It's not perfect, but it's really good. What I think makes it work well for me is the large cutout, flexible shell, just-right padding, slight rise at the back, and the overall shape just works really well for me. Notice I said "for me". But if you've tried a number of saddles without much success (Specialized Power, Selle SMP, Bontrager...), this one might work well for you too. So far I've gone on 2 hour rides, including plenty of time both on the hoods and in the drops, no numbness, and still pretty comfortable at the end. It's a nice bonus that you are not "locked" into place like many other saddles. You can slide forward or back if that's more comfortable when climbing or in full aero TT position. Definitely the best saddle I've tried in years.

Pricey but the quality is there. I paired it with an aluminum seatpost and found the shape to work for me on long rides. Haven't found any saddle specific issues yet with long and hard riding. Possibly you're next-last saddle.

Love this seat. Very comfortable for long hauls and especially good for those with perineum issues.

I only completed a few rides on this saddle. Each ride lasted between 10-19 hours.Before that I rode leather saddles (Brooks, Selle Anatomica, others).This saddle work better for me than any leather saddle. While my neither region is still tender after long rides, the level of abrasion has reduced significantly.The cutout combined with the light padding reduce pressure in my perineum and soft tissue around it.

L3 size... best saddle I’ve ever had. Initially it feels like it may be a little uncomfortable but after 20 minutes into first ride I completely forgot it was there... the deep cutouts are great and in steamy Florida also provide great airflow.You get what you pay for.

A bit pricey but my comfort is worth it. ✨️

I upgraded from a "Bontrager Verse Short Comp, steel rails, 145mm width" on a Trek Gen4 Domane SL5 size 56 and this saddle simply wasn't an upgrade worth it's high cost. My focus is endurance riding and it did not live up to it's own marketing.The saddle will make clicking sounds when you change positions. Not all the time but the Trek stock saddle never made any noises. The clicking is caused by the saddle plastic moving. Look up this issue, with some Selle saddles, on YouTube and see that others have experienced the same issue. I tried lubing the saddle rails, as some suggested but that didn't help as the issue is not with the rails.If I had of been within the 30 day return window I would have sent the saddle back. I did get a slight weight reduction but that still doesn't justify the cost. I've unfortunately learned a lesson.

Der Sattel ist verhältnismäßig teuer, allerdings bin ich sehr zufrieden damit. Ich hatte immer Probleme mit Taubheitsgefühlen. Die treten mit diesem Sattel allerdings überhaupt nicht auf. Auch habe ich nach über 500 km noch keine Abnutzungserscheinung daran gesehen. Das ist natürlich zu erwarten, bei dem Preispunkt, widerspricht allerdings den anderen Rezensionen hier.Der Sattel war eine tolle Investition für mein Rennrad und ich bin sehr zufrieden damit.

I had a SLR max boost on my gravel bike so I knew the shape worked for me purchased this to replace a flite on my road bike that I never gelled with properly. The endurance is initially quite a stiff uncompromising saddle however after a couple of rides it does breaks in and becomes very comfortable i completed my first 200k audax on the endurance and it was superb no numbness or pain issues(SLR boost has one of the biggest cutouts of any saddle I've seen) even after 8 or so hours of riding. It is an expensive saddle but the quality is immediately apparent the Ti 316 rails are light and strong and the additional gel layer in the saddle does make a difference the cover allows ease of movement and does not grab at your bibs which is important too me. This is on the racier end of saddles it is light and not exactly plush but if it fits I don't think you can get much better tbh.

Sella comodissima, leggera e bella. Vale i soldi spesi; inutile spendere meno in selle meno costose se si ha difficoltà a trovare selle comode correndo poi il rischio di doverle cambiare, meglio orientarsi come in questo caso in selle di alta fascia. Comprata sul Marketplace dal venditore Nencini Sport con cui ho avuto modo di comunicare via mail e si è dimostrato disponibile ed efficiente nella spedizione. Esperienza positiva.

Me ha llegado hoy el sillin y lo recomiendo, muy comodo, el hueco prostatico de maravilla y en mi caso he subido de talla a la L3 y por el espacio de mis isquiones he notado mucha mejoría en comparación con la talla anterior que era la S3.
