Doesn't taste great, but good enough and gets the job done
These are pretty expensive, for what is, essentially, baby food in an adult-sized pouch. The flavor of this one is, to put it mildly, kinda yucky. However, they go down so fast that I deal with it. Why? Because I take these on long trail runs and it's a great way to get calories -with some protein- into my body. And it's a nice alternative to energy gels and energy chews. Those can get boring after awhile. This also has a fair amount of water in it, so it goes down really fast and I don't need to take extra water on after eating it. That's a nice thing, too, as sometimes on a long trail run, you don't really want to choke down a sticky gel with a bunch of precious water you need to conserve.
