OBDLink EX FORScan OBD Adapter

I got this to use with the FORSCAN app on my 2023 F150. It is compatible and worked great. I was able to easily load the required drivers on my DELL laptop by following the included instructions. This allows me to do factory technician level diagnostics, and adjust settings through the FORSCAN interface. This is a great cost savings for those who are computer literate.

I wanted a wired adapter so I purchased this one based on the recommendation of the FORscan website. I'm so glad I did. Flawless performance. Drivers installed automatically. Connected to vehicle and got the green light as soon as I powered up the laptop. Initialized the FORscan program and the rest was a piece of cake. Very fast data transfer. No HS/MS-CAN switches to flip. Vehicle recognized and all modules showed up. Great feeling when no DTC codes appeared. Did one mod on my 2019 F-150 truck that has been bugging me for years. As far as I'm concerned, that one alone was worth the price of the adapter. I have a few more mods to try. Eager to explore some other features of the FORscan program.

My 2020 Mustang has stiff suspension. The adaptive cruise uses a radar sensor that has two ball mounts and a singled lower bolt bracket. One of the ball mounts popped loose pushing the sendsor out of place which disabled adaptive cruise and automatic emergency braking. Quickly diagnosed the issue with the scanner. --- Then applied for a 2 month free extended license (just search "forscan support request" copy in your scanner ID and they'll give you a 2 month trial!) --- - With the extended license I was able to run the Radar Alignment "Service" drove the car above 30mph for 5-10 minutes and the "Radar is not aligned" message disappeared!!! Service successful! and I've driven it a few times and the Adaptive Cruise works perfectly! --- --- This $70 it saved me a trip to a radar servicing center or worse a dealership that would've charged me HUNDREDS on top of costing me time which is precious! --- Compatible with most Ford Vehicles 1996+ (including mazda, lincoln & mercury) Installed the forscan software on a Windows 11 laptop and it worked perfectly. It provided perfect information I needed to resolve my issue. Connected via USB 2.0 just fine and was recognized immediately The software is easy to read and understand.

It has worked out flawlessly for my 2017 F-150. Reasonable price. Plug it into your OBD and computer and open up Forscan software and get a comprehensive list of all the features that you can play with. It helped me troubleshooting my downstream O2 sensors and config cool stuff like DRL, remove annoying beeps, set my tire’s dimensions etc. It works as described 👍

Worked perfect. Connected to my laptop and my ram truck seamlessly. I was able to do diagnostics and a quick learn for the transmission with no problem.

I used this adapter with FORScan to work on a mykey issue with my Ford Everest 3.2 TDCI 2022, and it was so easy to get rid of the problem ! Definitely recommend it. Cheap solution compared to what the dealership was charging (another brand new key and program it).

Works beautiful. Got tired of flipping the hs/ms toggle. This one supports a higher baud rate then cheaper models and switches hs/ms automatically. Super easy to use. You also get a free license to odbwiz which has some cool features. Small form factor. Cable is plenty long. Easy to read/delete codes. Works great with forscan.
