I really dont like stealth which may be why I never got to this game even as a kid when mgs came out for the ps1. I had played it but the whole idea of doing stealth is pretty wussy like for me. I prefer guns blazing. After hearing of the option of either or I had to get this game. The game starts off just amazing and interesting enough to keep playing it through. Graphics on my HD TV it looks fantastic I had no problem with the fps or any of that. It looks amazing. The online avatars is pretty weak I believe its the weakest point of the game. I do like the fact that the AI will slightly evolve more after each post you attack by wearing heavier gear and what not. I was a bit confused on the control system but after 20 minutes of the actual gameplay (not the intro) I got into it. Even though the game is set in 1984 it sure ass hell does not feel like it does due to all the technological advance weaponry this game shows. If anything this game feels like something that is going on as of now. The game has a far cry/socom feel. As the title announces this game is all based on creating your own private army (like a military corporate Sim game) its just so god damn good if you are looking for that or interested. The game doesn't have the feel of past ones or at least the few I have played. I like this new direction the franchise went. I think anyone would get into it. You also dont need to play the other games neither.

Great game.
Good game, the gameplay is the best in the series. Could’ve been better if they had enough time to finish it.

I've had MGSV since release day so I've gotten to play it for almost a month now. I've put a good amount of hours into it and am only at 16% completion, so it should definitely keep you entertained for a while. I do love how much attention was given to the little details in the game. It gives you a lot of creative opportunities to complete the missions however you want. As far as gameplay goes, this installment gets an A. It's also quite challenging and can be frustrating if you're not the most skilled player. And as someone who can't afford next-gen consoles and doesn't have a top notch computer (I prefer console anyway), the graphics are pretty impressive on the PS3. I don't experience any performance issues, so as long as your hard drive isn't filled to the brim, you probably won't either. So if you were worried about getting the game on a previous-gen console, then don't listen to what a lot of entitled PS4/Xbox One owners are saying. No matter your reasons, there's no shame in getting the game for PS3 or 360! I don't have a lot of complaints about MGSV, but I do have a few so I'm going to lay them out here... 1.) Firstly, yes, Kiefer Sutherland does do a good job voicing Snake. However, it's unfortunate he really doesn't have a lot of speaking lines.Outside of calling out buddy commands, grunting, and shouting at death--all that combat stuff, Snake is uncomfortably silent in cutscenes. When he speaks, it's good. But that's the problem... there are lots of times where he's reduced to a Link-like mute who for some reason has nothing to say during the cutscenes. I have nothing against Sutherland, but I feel that replacing Hayter for the last MGS game might not have been the best choice. I admit I did like Hayter a lot, but even at a neutral standpoint, I would've opted to keep him if it had gotten Snake some more lines. Sorry! 2.) On the subject of cutscenes, the game is pretty barren so far. For the most part, you go out, you do missions/side ops, you take care of Mother Base. So if you loved the long, dramatic, cinematic brilliance of the cutscenes of previous Metal Gears, you're going to have to starve a while before you're refreshed by a decently-lengthed cutscene. At least they're very pretty to look at, and the gameplay is fun enough to keep you going until the next one. I look forward to what's in store for the rest of the game. 3.) This one is really minor and more of a forewarning, but you'll probably see some little graphical glitches. I've seen an enemy truck start driving in the distance and then suddenly glitch into turning the opposite direction and then back rapidly before resuming normal behavior. I've also seen my box turn invisible while walking underneath it, and D-Dog's limbs glitch out in different directions like a demented Sims baby beore shifting back into the right place. Other than that, I haven't experienced anything game breaking. The one known problem that had been stopping story progression has already been patched, and server connection issues were remedied within the first few days of release. Konami has been pretty good about taking care of their game and with all the work they've put into it, I don't blame them for a few "well that's weird" moments here and there.

I love the Metal Gear series but was let down by Ground Zeros for its price for such a short game. The Phantom Pain makes up for this in so many ways. Combing elements of Peace Walker in an open world environment has been a joy to play. The open world maps and mother base are massive as you can spend quite a lot of time exploring them. New features like reaction mode and the buddy system make it easier for fans new to the series to adjust and enjoy game play. My only issue with the game are personal in that some features such as daily rewards and FOB modes require online access. This is something that could be lost to players without regular internet connection. Also the missions are broken up by credit scenes. This being that after every main mission there is a set of movie style credits that play between which I feel break up action and story. Last but not least, unlike previous Metal Gear Solid games, there doesn't feel as heavy a focus on story. It is still there but not as much as previous games. Not perfect but a very well made game that needs to be played by any fan of the series or sand box games.

Not really sure what to say about this game without any spoilers, but if you are a Metal Gear fan and/or a Hideo Kojima fan you must give this game a try. The base building does not feel like a chore thankfully and the story writing is as on par as you'd expect any game in this franchise to be. I almost have to pull myself away from it or it'd consume all my free time, haha. I hope all enjoy this wonderful game as much as I do. That being said there is a weird glitch on one mission on the PS3 version where the game play will freeze. The PS3 is fine, the game itself is fine, but the game play becomes completely immobile, but if you completely exit out of the game and restart it, it seems to fix the issue. You can tell if the load times are absurdly longer that normal if this issue is going to occur.

I have not played a Metal Gear Solid game since the very first one on the original Nintendo. It was the first stealth game I witnessed and I was amazed by the amount of items Snake had at his disposal. Well I am amazed again. This game blew me away. I had so much fun and I still put hours into it. It isn't without its flaws but it just keeps on delivering. I would rank this title in my all time top 10. I had a blast upgrading and customizing weapons, load outs, and the cardboard box brought back some memories. Its a great farewell to the ps3 since I will be updating my system soon.

国内版が高価で安くなるまで待つ予定でしたが下がる気配が一切感じられませんでしたので北米版を購入しました。 こちらは英語吹き替えですがそれ以外は日本語表記でした。プレイに支障がなくとても遊びやすいです!
