Very sturdy.
These are the best grabbers I purchased so far. Compared to others they are the sturdiest. I previously purchased the kind that fold & they are not sturdy at all. Also these are longer & have a much better grasp. I really like these.

Nice quality
Ordered a two pack and they arrived in perfect shape and both work great. It's a very good value for the two pack.

Pretty good
Pretty good value but one pair of mine came apart in the two pack that I bought. But worked as they should. Had to do some rigging to make the other one work.

These are great!
These grabber claws, apparently Amazon’s in-house version of Fiskers are very sturdy and well built. The shaft and the claw are metal. We use them to cleanup trash on the beach. The rubber grips work well and provide enough grip and dexterity to easily pickup very small objects. They are strong enough to pickup relatively heavy objects as well at least 5lbs (2.4kg).My kids like to play around with them which I somewhat discourage but they’ve held up quite well to their occasional abuse.I imagine eventually the plastic handle will break or the shaft will get bent but I’m sure we’ll get plenty of use before that happens.A great value for a the price to be sure!

Built very well
I've bought several of these and given them out to friends, Thay all seem to like the build quality, and the ability to lift heavier loads whithout folding under the weight.

OK, but not the best
I ordered a pair. One of them is great, no issues. The other one is sticky and balky when you stop squeezing the trigger. You expect the jaws to spring open to their maximum width, but they do not - they open to maybe 75% of maximum. If you "snap" the trigger over and over you can get them to open wider, or if you manually move the trigger to its off position it will open even wider, but that is obviously an inconvenience.I used them for about an hour today, and I started feeling some pain in my trigger hand because of the position that the hand must use. I also had another trash picker, made of aluminum and about half the weight of this Amazon Basics picker. The aluminum picker had a true pistol grip. There was no hand pain associated with the aluminum picker. The aluminum picker that I used was similar to this one, also sold on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09T8DR178 If you only need a picker for a short time, the Amazon Basics picker will be sufficient. If you're going to use it for a long time, get a lightweight picker with a pistol grip.

Much better than cheapie plastic grabbers!
The claw part of many grabbers is made of resin or some other durable plastic product. I'm sure that's perfect for seniors who just need to pull slippers from a closet or a box of tea bags from a cupboard and need a grabber that's lightweight. But I needed something with the heft to grab weightier objects, such as jugs of laundry detergent and 2-liter soda bottles. The claw of this grabber is made of steel, so it's sturdy, and coated in plastic, so it's not likely going to damage its prey. I've been using it daily for months and it's still going strong. Impressive product!

Grabs it all!
My friend bought me one of these as a gift. Solid, durable and grips both small and large objects.

Love
Totally love this grabber! Useful for any reasonably lightweight objects, including hauling Amazon packages and small boxes inside. So handy and practical that I ordered another one. Wish there was an even longer version from the same brand/company.

Looks like the real one but…
I bought both the Unger picker and the Amazon basic version. I ordered the Amazon for a company beach cleaning event. Because I mistook the delivery time I had to get the Unger at Home Depot in the store last minute. Amazon had two for $25 and at HD one Unger was about $22. Since I had both I wanted to do a comparison. I used the Unger on the day of the beach cleanup and I was super happy with it as it was not too heavy and the handling was good. It saved my back from bending all the time. I used it to collect a lot of garbage. The Amazon arrived the day after and as you can see from the pictures it looks almost exactly like the Unger. However, it doesn’t feel like the same. It’s a little bit heavier and when pressing the grip the Unger grips a bit better and the mechanism feels a bit more solid. I also see that the Unger claws are more angled than the Amazons. That allows for a better angle when grabbing stuff. The Amazon rattles more as well when shaking it. So is the Unger worth almost twice the price? I’d say yes if you’re only buying one or two for yourself. I think that the Unger might result in less fatigue and might be better at picking stuff up because of the angle. So if you’re buying it for yourself and want to use it for a bit more than just once a year then I’d recommend the Unger. Of course you can slightly bend the claws of the Amazon to get to the same result. If you’re buying quite a few of them for something like a corporate event and are looking for a good bang for the buck then I’d say go for the Amazon version as the people using it would likely only use it for a few hours and then the thing would be sitting in a closet at the office afterwards. Overall the Amazon version can do the same and you can get more of them in the hands of people than the Unger for the same price.

Great Value!
These reachers are awesome value for the money. My husband has physical limitations and can't bend down to pick up items. Up until now we have been buying reachers from the dollar store and having to replace them every few months... if we're lucky to get that long! They do have a bit of weight to them, so if you have weak hands or arms they may be a bit of a challenge to use. Other than that they are metal construction and longer than cheap grabbers, which makes them perfect for taller people and for reaching high, hard to reach areas.I would highly recommend purchasing.

Work great
I use these for my business, reaching into hard to access wall voids, behind appliances, or in crawlspaces to grab....things. They're fairly sturdy and provide excellent dexterity for use in pest control.
