Turkish Coffee Spice Mix 2.0 Oz - Zamouri Spices

I just started using it so had to wait with the review. I love it in my morning Turkish style coffee with some brown sugar and milk. All those spices together gives the perfect morning feel-good aroma and a silky taste/feel if you ask me. Kinda exotic especially on these cold mornings. And each spice has a little health benefit as well.So here is my update >>> I have been using this spice for more than a year already and can't have my coffee without it anymore. I still make my coffee in a copper "ibrik" in turkish style since growing up in eastern Europe i got customized to it. Look up how to make coffee turkish style and if you make it, you will definitely feel the difference from the boring taste of electrically brewed one. The important thing is to use chlorine free water since that is what kills the taste of a really good coffee. Whoever is very meticulous with their coffee like me, will know what i am talking about. Since discovering this spice combination, making and drinking my coffee in the morning is extra joy and it does not really require a lot of work. If you wish to start your day with a well deserved treat for a good coffee, this is the way to go. Keep them coming!New update>>>> Feb 8 2021. Still ordering it for more than 3 years and loving it. It just became a part of my coffee making ritual and am very careful not to run out of it since i would miss it tremendously. The change in ingredients sometimes does not bother me a bit and if not available here, i can always order from the company's website. Please don't discontinue!New update: March 26 2022. I am still ordering tis spice either from Amazon or if they don't have it available, from their site directly. Not sure if it's just me but the quality is not the same as when i started ordering it some years ago. It does have the same ingredients, but still somehow is different and not as smooth as before. Regardless, i still keep ordering it since it goes well with my turkish style made coffee. Like with everything else good things don't last forever but will be ordering it until it's available.

Admittedly this came in and it was a bit on the bland side of things. I'm thinking maybe I got an old one or something, but I could do better mixing it up myself.

This is a great spice blend. Not just for coffee but for baked goods as well...warm, earthy, zesty. This merchant blended the spices so that they all come together in a really great way without any one flavor overwhelming the others. The product is well protected in its jar and when opened literally popped with flavor. The cost was a little more costly than one might expect, but the spices were clearly of good quality and actually a good deal considering the quantity band quality of spices in the jar. Speedy delivery and well protected. We recommend this!

I generally don't like flavored coffees. But on our last trip to Israel my partner and I developed a taste for Turkish coffee, mostly plain, but sometimes with spices. At home we have taken to mixing a bit of pure Turkish coffee in with our regular coffee, and I decided to make up the spice blend. While I was searching for recipes I saw this relatively inexpensive mix, and being tight on time I ordered it. YUM. BIG YUM! My partner has been adding it to our morning coffee and the flavors aren't obvious like most flavored coffees, but it gives the taste an incredible boost. I never got around to checking for recipes, so I can't swear to its authenticity, but I can tell you it is delicious. It smelled nice and fresh, and we have found that a little goes a long way.

Second time I’ve ordered this coffee spice. The spices shown on the description are not what I received. This bottle contains Cinnamon, Cardamom, Clove, Fennel, Anise and Nutmeg. Although it’s not terrible, just not as advertised.
