This is my #1 favorite book. I reread it every year, sometimes multiple times a year. The story & lessons are timeless. Anyone who asks for a recommendation on an easy but impactful read, I never hesitate to recommend this book! I always gift it, because this book has all the answers to everything you are feeling & going through

Great read this far hard to put down.

This book is totally captivating, educational, keeps you interested and drawn into the character of David Ponder from the beginning of the book until the end. I thought I would have time to order The Final Summit before I finished this book, as I wanted to go deeper with David Ponder’s life, and of the author Andy Andrews strategies. However, I finished over the weekend, unexpectedly, and am now awaiting the arrival of my next book...yes I could read it on Kindle but I have plans to gift the book to a family member (just gifted and now reordering complete set) as I am convinced The Travelers Gift is definitely a book to read again. If you’re in a period of life that you’re needing something to bring you up, a measure that’s just not getting you where you need to be for whatever reason, The Travelers Set is “THAT BOOK” that can truly help you see life from a different perspective and get back on track or even get on track for the FIRST TIME. I am glad I took the chance on buying it, the time to read and and have had the opportunity to speak up for it. I only hope someone out there hears, reads this and makes the decision to grab a copy to change their own life for the better too, it’s sure helping mine already and let me tell you all, after losing my children’s father, my nephew, and my Mother, all in 32 months, I needed THIS HELP !!!Get ready to see life from a different perspective and make some positive changes as only you can do with God's help. Always knowing "it's the choice we make" and "why not me?"!!P.s. Now I have ordered The Travelers Gift 2 more times and have 2 requests for it...so here I am, yet again, because this book is "just that powerful" in my opinion.Update: as yet another copy was ordered for an incarcerated family member, he has let me know he wishes he would have read it the first time I gave it to him. However, he's now got several incarcerated acquaintances asking to read his copy. I guess it worked out for a reason...to land inside a county jail and hopefully change lives, one life at a time. When he was released last week he left the book in the jail still being passed around.I loaned out my copy so ordered another and when it arrived, I realized it's the FIRST edition with questions at the end of the book...AND IT'S AUTOGRAPHED BY ANDY ANDREWS!!!!I'm adding pictures of the FIRST EDITION and the autograph. The only thing missing is the dust cover but the book is in excellent condition otherwise!!

The book The Traveler's Gift by Andy Andrews, is about David, a middle-aged man who believes he has hit rock bottom in his life. At the moment he hits the bottom he gets in an accident. Instead of finding himself in the hospital, he finds that he has "traveled" through time and space. He visits seven people that made a difference in history. Each person on his journey gives him a piece of advice that influences him, and the rest of his life. The advice focuses on the characteristics that make a person successful. These seven pieces of advice, or attitudes, are known in the book as "the seven decisions that determine personal success." After David finishes his journey he finds himself in the hospital. None of his circumstances changed, but because of the experiences he had, he then approaches life with renewed hope and optimism. The lessons he learned changed his life and taught him how to harness the potential he has within him.This book is written in a way that is straight forward and easy to understand. Every characteristic can be applied to nearly any aspect of anyone's life. Andy Andrews writes in a way that will motivate you to be the best person you can be. The characters' attitudes are an incredible example of being the best person you can become. Their simple influence is inspirational that will change the way you think. The chapters are outlined so that if you only wanted to read about the specific attributes, you easily could. That being said, the story line is very basic and has no unexpected twists and turns. It is still a page turner, because every page is filled with inspirational quotes, comments and insights.It is a self-improvement book disguised as a fictional novel. I thought that it was a little cheesy, but I believe it was a creative approach to writing. The simplicity of this book makes it one that I will turn to for motivation when I am feeling discouraged. Every decision of success was explained clearly and promotes positive thinking. I really enjoyed reading this book because it made me want to be a better person. Each attribute was written in a way that made them seem obtainable, and realistic. If you are looking for a book that will inspire you, this is a must read.

Great book ive read in 3 days such a good book easy to read and with great insights

This book is all about the seven decisions or seven things which we should implement in our life.This seven decisions is narrated through seven short stories. And in the end author try to show the future after implementing seven decisions in our life.
