Put it on my 2020 M3P. The product clearly mentions that it's not for actual towing but rather for just aesthetics. As a matter of fact M3s come with a tow eye already in the frunk so not sure why would anyone but another for the purpose of towing. I bought this one just to have a flashy tow hook popping out from the front and it does the work perfectly fine.

I wanted to be cool so i bought this tow hook. It wasn't about functionality. First of all, this tow hook didn't even come with a wrench. It was so tight that i couldn't beens the hook. Also once installed the hole isn't hidden so it just looks awkward. There are wires in there so keeping it covered is for the best

First off, the Model 3 comes with a real tow hook that is stored in the frunk. Second, this is made of aluminum and is completely unusable. And since when did it become fashionable to install tow hooks? No one actually believes you take your car to the track (or cares), especially in this case since a lot of tracks prohibit EVs, so the only message you're sending is "My car is trash, and is so likely to break down at any moment that I need my tow hook permanently affixed!" And what happens in an accident when you're too shaken up to remember the 'show hook' is installed, and a tow truck driver tries to use it, only to dump your car on its side when the hook fails half-way up the ramp? Congrats, your dumb hook just made things worse. Third, THE MODEL 3 COMES WITH A REAL TOW TOOK THAT IS STORED IN THE FRUNK!!! Paint it red, screw it in, and call it a day if that's your thing.
