Sheaffer Gel Rollerball Refill C Style - Black Medium (fits Award & Pop) (8523SH)

I ordered this cartridge to replace my Cross pen's used one and it fit like a glove! I've noticed that the company that makes these refills probably makes a generic one for both Sheaffer and Cross because they're identical. The ink quality is good, but the cartridge doesn't last like the old ones. Given the fact that these types of refills that are just marketed for Cross pens are about twice as expensive, this "Schaeffer" one is the perfect alternative.

Works as expected, nice ink flow. Fits my pen perfectly.

Works perfect in a Cross Roller Ball pen and much cheaper. Cross refills are hard if not impossible to find and these are perfect replacements. Still pricey but cheaper than Cross.

The writing is dark and lasted quite a while. The high quality was very fitting, would definitely buy many times more!

Apparently they stopped shipping Cross refills in black during the pandemic. After a lot of agonizing research I realized I could use this for my father's lovely slimline Cross pen instead of paying a massive amount for an old Cross refill. It works! Now I just have to get a refill for his S.T. DuPont.
