Looks good. Nice Veneer a lot of compressed particle board, sturdy
This is from Sportsman’s Guide. They have fantastic customer service I have several other cabinets from this set. They look good and have lasted. But just they are made It has a nice veneer and looks very good. I haved moved several times and they stood up well.I use the top 3 drawers to store my pocket knife collection. They are not not High enough for my Cold Steel Trail master with the Stag handle. But will fit a Buck General without the sheath. Or a Cold Steel Tanto with the plastic sheath. The Buck General, Trail Master will fit in the bottom drawer The top lid compartment will hold larger items. The Harbor Freight Widsor 8 drawer Wood tool Chest is a really good value at only $85.

Great Storeage for wife’s nail kits!
Perfect size and weight, but extremely smelly when unboxed.

It’s small but very functional
The drawers are smooth and because I also own the base chest, the smaller smaller size makes it ideal because I can see in the top drawers when they’re stacked on my craft table. Much more attractive than the IRIS plastic drawers. Roomy enough to use 1” high trays for organizing.

I bought the whole set
I bought this as the complete set. A nice piece of furniture for a collector of things

The chest is a little small but is serviceable
A 4 or 5 inch “basement” drawer option would be nice.

Comparable to chest from Harbor Freight
I already had a wooden chest from Harbor Freight similar to this. I was hoping this one would be bigger or have thicker drawers but it’s not. The bottom drawer is a little bit thicker then the Harbor Freights 2 thick drawers. The top drawer under the lid is the tinsiest bit thinner then HF. I love the black interior on this one compared to HF green. I think I will keep this chest, I just wish there was a sale or coupon when I bought it. I’m looking forward to getting the other two pieces in the set but again will wait for a sale or discount. The HF chest similar to this is so much cheaper, I recommend getting that one if you just need the one piece but if you want a set it’s up to you which to get.
