Generic Wii Nunchuk/Nunchuck Controller

I wrote 3 stars at first because my alexa said how would I rate this item and I forgot I bought this. It works perfectly right out of the box!

For what it is (a very cheap semi-controller), it works fine. You can tell it's not a real nunchuck, but it's pretty close. The analog stick gives it away, but after some hours I haven't had any trouble with it. I think the cord is a bit longer than the original as well.

This could be an original, the way it works. I bought two. I use one with an original wii wand and one with some cheap wand Walmart had on sale a few years ago. Both of them worked fine, just like the real thing.However, last week I noticed that when my son tried to move the little button/nozzle/ thingy (idk what it's called) on the nunchuk to the right, when he was playing Ben 10, it wouldn't respond properly. To be precise, the movement to the extreme right is supposed to make Ben run, but instead he just walks. The thing is, my kids are really, really rough on nunchuks so I am not sure if the problem wasn't caused by them, rather as a result of the nunchuk being a cheap knock off. The other remote, is working fine though.I don't regret the but and will probably buy another two if I need to, once the price doesn't go up too high,

These components typically break due to the nature of their role in game playing and everyday abuse. Consequently, they need to be replace periodically. This can be expensive buying in a normal retail environment. (ie. Walmart, etc.) I have not been able to beat the online purchase price. The quality of the online product appears to be as good as the originals that came with the game system. I good purchase I believe.

But these are non OEM nunchucks. Our kids, their friends and even I cannot tell the difference.Feels the same and they look identical to the untrained eye. And in the games we play, ( mostly Mario games) no noticeable difference.About three months old and no issuesWould buy again.No complaints, great price

This is not a real Nintendo Wii Nunchuck. It is manufactured by a third-party and it not fully compatible with the Nintendo Wii U. I haven't tried it with Wii, but that is because I play everything on Wii U.Upon receiving this item, I could tell the build quality was not up to par with Nintendo's nunchucks. The control stick was not centered completely and leaned to the left slightly. The material felt cheap and light and not as rounded on the edges as Nintendo ones. Moving the control stick also felt un-smooth. There was more friction when moving it and is uncomfortable especially when moving it with just your thumb. The buttons feel cheap as well. They don't sink into their slots completely and don't feel centered. Build quality is terrible.I tried out this nunchuck with a Wii Remote Plus on Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U and it wouldn't even register the entire controller when plugged into the remote. Once I unplugged this nunchuck, it recognized the Wii remote only and I could play with just that. I suspect that other games will exhibit this problem as well, so I would not recommend purchasing this. It is much too cheap to work 100% with Nintendo products. Just spend the extra money and purchase an official Nintendo nunchuck.

It's one of those knockoff pieces anyone could find at warehouses in Downtown Los Angeles. Doesn't feel sturdy. Did not work with my black Motion Plus remote, but it works fine for the old white ones. If you don't mind that, it's good for what you pay for it.
