Andy Andrews is the author of some of my favorite books, including the masterpiece, The Traveler's Gift, which ranks right up there with the works of Tolkien and Lewis in my heart. His non-fiction books are wonderful, but there is just something about the way this guy writes fiction. Reading a new fiction book by Andy is like a visit from an old friend, and this time he brought along one of my favorite friends, Jones. Not Mr. Jones, just Jones. From the time he introduced us to this man who changed his life, Andy Andrews shows us this amazing man and his superpower, being a noticer, i.e. someone who notices the truth of our lives and helps us to see it. The truths shared in these amazing works of fiction will change your real life. I believe that this book could stand on its own, but if you want my recommendation, start with The Noticer, then read The Noticer Returns and follow it with Just Jones. You won't be sorry. I love a good story. This new book, “Just Jones” by Andy Andrews is a good story. I have enjoyed meeting and getting to know Jones through the books and this story introduces us to even more Jones.I started thinking at the beginning of the book who is the Jones in my life and actually I’ve had many, not just one person. Then I think who have I been a Jones to and am glad to remember that there have been a few people I have touched. I have been given to and given out and that is in part what this story is about.Andy mentions in the interview at the end of the audio book that he wanted to give people something to talk about and he has followed through with that goal.I love the references to the Andy Griffith show and the applications he incorporates in each of his stories but especially the Jones’ books.This story does not disappoint. And can be read, listened to many times to always glean something else from.

I wasn’t much of a reader until I discovered Andy’s books, but he had a sly way of helping me see the value in reading a book—any book, and now I read (and listen to) all sorts of books. But his are my favorite, and especially this one, because he has a way of weaving stories and humor, mystery and mischief, principles and perspective, and a heavy dose of observation all rolled into one entertaining and enlightening read. Trust me on this one.I’ll hope you pickup a copy for yourself. They also make wonderful gifts. But the most important thing is to read—and consider the things you think are impossible. Maybe they are, and maybe they are not.

JonesI love it. I love Andy Andrews’ ability to weave truth, history, imagination, wisdom and humor , into stories that challenge your thinking, warm your heart and spark your imagination! Jones is no exception! I purchased the audible version as well as the hardback. I enjoy hearing him read the books, but I also like having a book that I can make notes in and see it with my own eyes! Jones said, “When a society allows feelings to determine its truth, trouble is on the immediate horizon.” A very wise observation, one of the things I made note of.There is also a beautiful depiction of love, later in the book, that made me cry.Things change when out thinking changes!I highly recommend this book!

Andy Andrew’s has done it again! This book is outstanding! Andy has the knack for putting life into perspective and reminding us we all have choices to make in our lives.
