Works!
We didn’t end up needing this but we did change it out and it works great, and now we have a backup one for a rainy day!Very inexpensive fix to a common A/C issue!

In My Opinion: 'Works', But Disappointing...
In My opinion:Arrived quickly; functional tests and operation all 'appear' nominal.However, due to the fact it came in a plastic 'jiffy' style bag, it's Aluminum can is somewhat dented/mangled.Disappointed. If this cap weren't needed now, it would've been unceremoniously returned.Review posted 7/28/2018 and will be updated as experience warrants.Again, all above is just my opinion.

Works on AC unit outside. Just match up your specs. Good install videos on U-tube
Bought 2 and replaced one and have second as a spare. Took 10 minutes to replace. Specs are good and the price is right. Proactively changed beats a AC breakdown on the 4th of July weekend and having an after hours repair job!! Less than $20 bucks for two vs $200 for repair guy. Caps. last about 8-10 years so why no change on your own before they break.

Worked flawlessly
EASY fix for my heat pump fan that would not turn on. I looked at the old one and saw the bulging ends and new it went bad. Took it off (after taking pics of where the wires were hooked up) and matched up all the electrical capacity information to this one...ordered it, got it two days later, installed it...and I had A/C again in the upstairs unit.Obviously...understand what you are doing here...and triple check that you turned OFF the correct breakers or you'll get a shock that you might not survive.

This part worked perfectly
Home AC was not cooling because the compressor was not kicking on... replaced the capacitor with this and now it is working great. Make sure to watch the terminals as you disconnect because this type also helps start the fan motor (4 wires).

Saved me $200
Product arrived quickly (2 days - would have paid for faster shipping, but did not see an option), fit exactly as described (specified as a slightly smaller diameter than the OEM part, so it fits well, but it is slightly looser) and worked properly. Overall, very pleased. Thanks!Tip: Take a picture of the existing setup and remove one wire at a time from your old capacitor and attach it to your new capacitor unless you really know what you are doing.- B

Works as Advertised
Make sure to get the right MFD rating and Voltage to replace a capacitor that blows on your AC and this will do the job! Took me 3 min tops to install since the unit was already open and the old capacitor removed. Unit started right up when I put the fuse back in and turned the AC on. Basic part everyone should have a spare of in case their AC goes kaput.

Super easy.
I am a single mom with no extra money. My AC went out on Sunday, I watched a few you tube videos, ordered this capacitor, and it’s now Thursday and I’ve got cool air again. Such a happy camper. It took 10 min to uninstall old one and 10 min to install new one. Take a picture of the old one BEFORE you disconnect so you know how to connect the new one.

Direct fit replacement that worked like a charm
Fan on outside a/c unit was spinning very slowly, then not at all, in the middle of a heat wave. A quick Youtube diagnosis suggested that a blown run capacitor was very likely the cause. The Packard cap fit the harness perfectly and the a/c was up and running in no time. Saved me time and mucho dinero.Note: YMMV. Observe all safety precautions and don't be careless when attempting home HVAC repair ;o)
