How long the music lasts?

the more u wind the key the longer it goes but it's a music box and works with mechanical tools to play music so not very long the sounds is pleasant and the box looks adorable ,music with a full rotation of the key lasts around around ,1 minute. Hope that was helpful :)

What song does it play?

Ours played the Totoro song... "TotoroTotoro, Totoro Totoro."

I love my totoro music box. have lost the clear plastic turning key at top. where can i get replacment please?

I'm not sure you can get a replacement if not from the manufacturer, but the mechanism should be universal. You can find winding keys pretty easily on the internet. It depends on the size. If you get a universal key, it contains various sizes. Hope you find one that works. 😊
