Gymstick Original plus DVD

Transformed my wife's troublesome knees! Within a couple of weeks she went from being unable to crouch to finding it easy, after years of problems. As an overall body toning aid it is fantastic, bringing resistance exercise to upper and lower limbs and a generally quite energetic workout. Like everything exercise-related the results only come with effort put in, and one of the virtues of something such as the Gymstick, which is easy to prop out of the way when not being used, is that it can be picked up at a moment's notice and put to use. If you have a routine that is prone to a few small gaps when you are waiting for something else to happen, this is great for doing yourself some good. For my wife, a decade of knee problems began to straighten itself out within two weeks, to the point where she's now doing regular Muay Thai sessions with an instructor as well as a very active job, neither of which would have been possible if not for the early resistance training. The Gymstick comes with a DVD to demonstrate the exercises and how to take care of the Gymstick and yourself! For a gentle resistance exercise gadget, this is perfect; however it can be as gentle or tough as you require, and the colour coding of gymsticks allows to you start with a heavier duty version, or a lighter one as appropriate. To improve core strength, overall tone, and with a fairly aerobic workout too, this is hard to beat. I've seen the results, they transformed my wife's life by opening the doors to a wider range of exercises that her knee problems had always kept her away from, and from there the sky's the limit. Thoroughly recommended.

This gymstick is very effective, I have no upper body strength hahahah!!! Well, for now. There wasn't a dvd included with my order, apparently it is no longer included anymore, and this is true I discovered, it shows this on the creators website, it's only the online version which leads you to the YouTube videos, they're not able to change the above, advertisement as page not owned by them. The wall chart included has loads of exercises plus there are heaps of videos including the gymstick wiv startup/storage video shown on YouTube with great tips, so I'm not bothered by that. I'm having so much fun using this exercising equipment it's a great challenge doing the core balancing exercises. It's well made and easy to assemble, takes no time at all. You really do feel as though you've just done an all body workout with it, I simply love it.

I came across Gym Sticks a few months ago. I'm a personal trainer and a lot of my clients enjoy doing exercise outdoors so I opted for the Blue Gym stick as a lot of them are women. The Gym Stick is excellent for basic exercises and comes with a booklet with instructions on how to perform various exercises effectively. I would note that the guidance on who the different colours are suitable for is obviously very vague (I'd opt for the black one as the best all-rounder). I often have to resist the exercises further for my clients to make them effective. Plus I would also say that they are fun to use as an alternative and effective if used outdoors where light and space saving equipment is a must, but for use indoors or for a proper work out they are obviously limited in the amount of resistance and variety of exercises you can perform if you want to be really specific. For a simple but effective workout where space and weight are priority I would recommend the gym sticks. However if you're looking at them as an alternative to a weights session they can only offer so much.

The supplier is great to deal with and very responsive. I use the Gymstick as a workout following the Gymstick workouts that are posted on YouTube which are great. The piece of equipment is very well made and the quality is far superior to most other Pilates bars selling on Amazon. It is also possible to buy replacement bands and/or upgrade to a higher strength if Green (light) becomes unchallenging. However, it is quite a lot more expensive than other Pilates bars.

I had the Silver version for a couple of years. It's not really suitable for "proper" strength training; it's more of a Pilates sort of thing, but it was fine for the rehabilitation of a shoulder injury. Eventually, one of the latex tubes snapped due to perishing at the expansion lug, the point at which most of this type of device tend to fail.

pleased with the gym stick use it every day for 45 mins work out helps to keep me fit and supple and as a 67year old pensioner just work at my own pace to the dvd worth the price

Kenne den Gymstick aus der Reha. Super für Übungen zuhause. Es sind zwei Teile, die sich zusammen stecken lassen und anschließend in einem passenden Beutel verstaut und platzsparend aufbewahrt werden können. Dazu gibt es ein Poster mit Übungen zum Nachmachen. Bin begeistert. Es gibt den Gymstick in verschiedenen Farben und Widerständen. Mein Modell ist das leichteste. Für meine Zwecke z. B. Schulter/ Rückentraining ideal. Der Gymstick lässt sich aber für Übungen mit dem gesamten Körper anwenden.
