I always appreciate when a relatively expensive electronic appliance (air conditioner, vacuum cleaner, etc.) has parts that can be replaced easily and inexpensively. I got this to replace the head attachment for my Eureka AirExcel 990A, which broke after 4 good years of use. This thing replaced it perfectly. Now I don't have to replace the whole vacuum cleaner.

Better than the stock head!
Edit: I’ve had this replacement head now for over 2 years and it’s still holding up well after daily use! I still love it!I have the Mighty Mite vacuum that I use daily on tile and concrete floors. The stock head it came with broke after 11 months. I bought this as a replacement and it’s SO MUCH BETTER!! Moves more smoothly and the two settings for rugs and tile is much better!

The item I received did not match the photo. It was clearly a different brand or something. It looks just fine so I'm not sure why they would not just use photos of the real item. I'm desperate because the wheels on my other little bar thingy broke, so I decided to just go with this one for now. The good news is that it fit on my mighty mite vacuum just fine. It sucks pretty well and overall got the job done. The bad news is it does not work as well as the original. It sits a little higher off the floor so it doesn't smooth the carpet as well and it doesn't get the debris quite as well as the original. The wheels are larger and more rubber-y than the original. At first I liked that, but then it didn't move as smoothly when I vacuumed and it also left marks on my hardwood. So that was a bummer. It's good in a pinch but it's not the item that's advertised and it doesn't work as well as the original piece that came on my mighty mite.I tried to add a photo of what I received, but there seems to be a glitch. I will try to add one later if it let's me.

Exactly What I Needed
I did not attach this to a Eureka, but a Small shop vac I use to clean my hardwood and tile floors throughout my house. Works perfect, and is durable for the price. A previous version I had from a Eureka Canister had lost the wheels so vacuuming with the tool was hard. This seems to be built with higher quality than the original.
