Very impressive
Due to the weather, I couldn't pick up my order from BBL, and I ran out of ABS, so I tried this one. It is the same price as BBL when you get 10 spools. What, in a way, is less expensive, and I got it the next day... I cheat and use the Bambu Lab RFID from an MT spool of white ABS. I was shocked to see it printing at a good speed and with the finish quality of my favorite material. Not only does it have excellent printing quality, but it also bridges better and has no problem with a 30-degree overhang. The good: I like the spool; it is solid and comparable to the Bambu Lab. It can be used with refeelable spool. And the color is attractive; it is a deep blue. The ABS print perfectely, it is a bit whiter and may have a hint of bluish when you put it side by side with the BBL. The colors are very close. It's spooling nicely and orderly. It prints right out of the bag, in an AMS Pro2 with no humidity issues. The bad: I don't have anything to say. It kills me to see that I have better results than my favorite material. I ordered 8 more spools and will see if something comes up. Yes, I highly recommend it, and if it all goes well, I'll switch to Sunlu ABS... In the picture you can see two trays, one Bambu Lab and the other Sunlu...

Good filament!
Good filament, prints nice, quality is good, performance is the same as any other ABS i have used, color is really nice and solid, overall a very good filament for the price! The white is not a bright white, its more of a natural color, but still looks really nice for most uses.

The standard for ABS
Excellent price for very standard ABS filament. Never clogged or tangled on me. Nice deep shade of black. Been running spools of these through a Flashforge AD5M Pro. No issues thus far. Using print parameters as nozzle 260C and bed at 95C, and I run speedy--we're going 300mm/s on my quality profile. Extremely good adhesion to a textured PEI bed. Warpage can occur but you need to let the print cool on the hot bed before removal to mitigate this more. Overall very easy to print and workable.

nice filament, awful customer service and spooling.
the filament is nice when it actually prints, but I had a roll tangle on the first print out of the box. I have been 3d printing for a long time and have not seen a factory tangle in many years. Customer service was terrible, telling me that they needed a picture of the filament tangled IN THE PRINTER to move forward. They eventually relented and gave me a refund, but it was not worth the effort. I had about 6 more spool of this stuff and all of the spooling was messy, and 2 of them had visible kinks (where the filament turned white from being bent too far at some point in the manufacturing process). Nice filament and a good price, but with customer service this bad, and a clear spooling issue, I would stay away until they acknowledge and fix the issue at minimum, or get better customer service.

1st spool was wonderful in QIDI Q1 Pro, second spool wasn't good.
Edit: After drying and raising the extruder nozzle temperature to 260, the blue filament is printing perfect as well. I have since ordered a couple of more colors to try. First impression with green filament: Stunningly perfect prints in my new Qidi Q1 pro. This is the best printing filament I have tried so far. Then I loaded the blue filament out of the same box. I print with the spool in a tote with a rubber seal with a pile of Drierite indicating desiccant in the tote. I checked about 2/3 through the print to find a birds nest. It looks like the print went fine for about the first 10mm(50 layers), then started skipping with poor adhesion and finally making a birds nest. I bled some material and tried starting another print and it failed immediately. I can only guess that the filament has high moisture. I took it directly from the factory sealed bag to start the print. The drierite looked like it had absorbed significant moisture - the pile had finished changing color. I added fresh drierite and loaded the green spool back in and it's printing fine again. I'll try drying the blue but I'm disappointed that it wouldn't print out of the box.

Tough Prints, Clean Finish – SUNLU’s Black ABS Gets the Job Done
I recently started working more with ABS, and SUNLU’s Black ABS Filament has quickly become a standout choice for my projects. Right off the bat, the finish on this filament is impressive—sleek, crisp, and super clean-looking. Whether I’m printing functional parts or just experimenting with designs, the deep black gives everything a really polished, pro-level appearance. ABS can be a bit tricky to work with compared to PLA, but SUNLU’s version made the whole process surprisingly smooth. It extrudes evenly, holds dimensional accuracy really well, and once you get your temps dialed in, the prints come out solid with excellent layer adhesion. I ran it at around 230–250°C for the nozzle and about 90–100°C on the heated bed (with an enclosure to help control warping), and the results have been consistently great. Durability-wise, this stuff is tough. That’s one of the main reasons I reach for ABS in the first place, and SUNLU’s formula definitely delivers. It feels sturdy and reliable—perfect for parts that need to take a bit of abuse or heat. If you’re comfortable working with ABS or looking to get into it, I highly recommend giving this one a shot. With the right setup, it performs beautifully and adds a clean, pro look to any print. SUNLU’s Black ABS has definitely earned its place in my filament lineup.

Layin' down layers!
As an avid 3D printing enthusiast, I have had the pleasure of using Sunlu ABS 3D Filament extensively in my projects, and I must say, it has been an outstanding experience from start to finish. Sunlu ABS filament sets a high standard for quality and consistency. The filament diameter is precisely calibrated, resulting in smooth and even extrusion. This level of accuracy ensures that my prints maintain their structural integrity and exhibit exceptional layer adhesion, producing clean and flawless surfaces. One of the most impressive aspects of this ABS filament is its excellent printability. With the right settings and proper bed adhesion, I have consistently achieved impeccable results. The filament's ability to handle intricate details and overhangs with ease allows me to tackle complex designs and create functional prototypes with utmost precision. Furthermore, the finished prints exhibit remarkable durability. Sunlu ABS filament is known for its strength and toughness, making it ideal for producing functional parts and mechanical components. It stands up well to stress and impact, giving my creations the robustness required for real-world applications. Another noteworthy characteristic of this ABS filament is its low warp tendency. Properly tuned print settings and a heated bed have helped mitigate warping issues, ensuring that my prints remain stable and distortion-free throughout the printing process. This feature is especially critical for larger prints or parts that demand high dimensional accuracy. I am also delighted with the wide selection of colors offered by Sunlu. The vibrant and consistent color options allow me to infuse creativity into my projects, making them visually appealing and engaging. Moreover, the filament comes neatly wound on a spool, ensuring tangle-free printing and convenient storage. Filament great! New style spoil, not so great!
I’ve purchased several of these spools previously when they were the white spool and they were great! They have now switched to this bluish grey spool, which seems to be very flexible. First one I got wasn’t tightly wound and came start coming off the spool and got tangled up. I returned it for a replacement and was a lot more careful with the new one making sure to not have it unspool on me. I’ve been printing with it and have had a few issues where the filament somehow is getting stuck between the rest of the filament and the spool itself. I have to pull it out a bit and then resume my print to get it going again. Please switch back to the sturdier spools and work on the quality control! Otherwise the filament itself prints great!
