Do the pieces in this set interlock with the Gears Gears Gears pieces?

These gears are the same design in a different scale, so they aren't interchangeable with Gears Gears Gears (these require a much smaller post). But if you can think of a way to use both sets together where all the gears are mounted to their native sets, then I think you could probably get them to turn each other. The teeth are not a tight fit but it seems like it would work, more or less. But like, are they made to work together, no, it doesn't look like it.

No, My five-year-olds love to play with this in my classroom. They get creative as they try to build and rarely follow any directions in trying to build it.
