Cannot put it down kind of good! Engaging, heart warming, interesting story with fully developed characters. Good editing; I do not recall reporting one error, rare occurrence. Well rounded story, the author did not rush to end. Highly recommend!

This is a story of a young boy and a 100-year-old man's unlikely friendship. Two ends of the spectrum but they way they bring each other to life is the most beautiful story. Its full of laughter, regrets and determination. A must read!

This was one of the best books I've read in a long time. At first I just enjoyed the sweet simplicity of a friendship between a crotchety elderly man and a cheeky, impudent10 year old boy. But somewhere along the way I got hooked and couldn't put the book down. Murray McBride made it his sole focus to make 5 wishes come true for his dying 10 yr old friend. I laughed, smiled and cried thru this book. Joe Siple is a talented writer with an ability to make his characters come alive and imprint themselves on your heart.

This is the story of a very old man and a young boy with a heart condition, who both find joy in life again when they share their true selves with each other and another young companion. We follow their adventures and fall in love with each of them as they attempt to fulfill five essential wishes. The story is both uplifting and heartrending at the same time. The true meaning of love shines through the character of Murray McBride right to the last page of this book.

Wonderfully told story with lots of ups and downs that highlight how having a purpose in life can keep you going despite the obstacles faced. The reader is taken on an emotional journey, one that will make you laugh and cry, and yet makes you want to know what is coming next.Wishes are not just for the young and dreamers, they are for everyone, and sometimes the sharing of those wishes can make magical things happen in the everyday things we too often take for granted. A hug, a gentle pat to a shoulder, sharing a silent moment, can all become fuel to making wishes come true and turn the ordinary into magic.

This wonderful book made me laugh it loud and also cry big crocodile tears. It gave me sadness and brought me joy. It touched me in a way few books have. I will never forget reading this heartwarming story. It is on my VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED reads! Check it out. It doesn't disappoint.

This was one of the best stories I have read in a long time. It was well written and engaging. The characters are so real and you feel invested in their lives and their stories. I laughed and cried and held my breath in anticipation. I highly recommend this story.
