Having bought a previous mud kitchen that was awful i had to send back this one seems really good! So easy to put together seems really sturdy and great accessories came with it

This Mucky Mud outdoor play 'kitchen' has quite a simple mud kitchen design – one that I’d have said doesn’t really have the same kind of visual connection to a kitchen as the brand’s more detailed (and expensive) offering. There’s something that mainly looks like a sink area, a very small section of countertop, and a raised section at the back. Nothing really that resembles a cooker, although the cooking pots, ladle, and flipper have passed muster. The removable tray insert for the sink section has the potential to be a bit of a mixed blessing: very useful for making it easy to clean out potions, mud and sand pies, leaves and other assorted natural ingredient concoctions; not so useful if it gets damaged, I could see finding a similar-sized tray to replace it proving a bit hit and miss.The build wasn’t bad at all. It’s a fairly simple structure, and the wooden pieces were all pre-numbered with little stickers to help make identification easier, when following the diagrammatic instructions. The wood is not as smoothly finished as that on indoor wooden toys. It’s not splintery, but definitely has a less refined finish appropriate to the more rugged intended use.Overall, not bad and a good source of outdoor fun – but not without some downsides.3.5/5

This arrived with 2 ‘hobs’ broken and very sharp nails poking up. Flimsy and not very robust
