Absolutely awesome for starting fires! I use it in my Solo Stove and it gets the fire started super fast. Much cheaper than investing in fire starters every year. It can be adjusted from as low as a candle flame up to a full on blow torch.

Used this a few times already in the past week because I LOVE making fires almost every night. I am a woman and my guy friend came over to hook it up b/c I was a little nervous. This thing is insane. Firstly: It screws in backwards to your American Propane Tank. Any tank is fine. Yes, it works, just screw it to the left. Look CAREFULLY for the love of god at the little holes on the metal ring. If you don't..... ummmm.... there's gonna be some serious damage done to you. Turn both handles, the one on your tank, AND the one on the flame thrower (but just a little bit)!!!!!!. Face the ring AWAY from you, and hold the lighter stick in front of it. It will shoot out fire. I hold it under my teepee fire kindling that I build and that whole damn thing is blazing in just a couple seconds. I will keep this. No more struggling with kindling, paper, etc. OMG I love it. I store it under my deck.

Gets wood or charcoal hot quickly without lighter fluid, safe to use but do not light it too close to the propane course, take advantage of the long hose

Forget about torches, suvee guns, grills guns. This is amazing and simple. It’s a direct line to a propane tank with a reverse thread. It’s like blasting a propane tank onto your charcoal. AND HOLD ON TIGHT BECAUSE IT HAS THRUST and guess what it fits in a Kamado Joe classic bottom vent

My Zero smoke fire pit is great but I need to get the fire going first. This does the trick light it put between the logs immediately you have a fire. Ten minutes later pull it out and put it away no mess no fuss and you have a great campfire

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to start charcoal for my outdoor cooking equipment. I can slide it in under the charcoal basket in my smoke box, or I can use it with a charcoal chimney.I gotta tell you, though -- this thing is a beast. It only requires the very slightest turn of the valve to get a good blast of flame up through the charcoal. At full blast, it's ferocious. See video. Obviously, it could be used for other things as well.
