Do what they're supposed to.
These worked remarkable well. I bought them a long time ago and finally used them today. This morning my shirt was a little baggy and my trousers a little loose... As a result I looked a little sloppy and thought I'd give these ago to see if it helped me look tucked and tidy. Short answer: they worked exactly as designed. They don't come with any sort of instructions which was a little daunting for a first time user, but they aren't hard to figure out.I put them on a little tight at first and although even tight it didnt feel uncomfortable... When I sat there was a strange visible indentation in my leg where it went around and when I stood I felt like my neck was being pushed forward by my collar.I relaxed the buckles a little and all was good. Shirt stayed in place all day. I was expecting these to be mildly uncomfortable but they weren't uncomfortable in the slightest. Had to undo them to poop, but that's no big deal.Today I looked sharp instead of sloppy and this item is the reason.

Not ideal
These garters are made of high quality materials and are well constructed, but I cannot say I will be using this style in the future. It's uncomfortable and relatively complicated to put on. And after trying it out a few times, I find that it moves too much and needs constant readjustment throughout the day. It did a decent job of keeping my shirt in place but the clips have a hard time keeping a grip on thinner dress shirts and I had a few slip off, more than once. I've just switched to the "Y" style garter that also holds your socks up, and so far I'm finding them far superior to this kind!

It does the job
It does hold your shirt though it might be a little hard to move. Easy use

Works as intended
I really liked this design because I didn’t want to have to wear suspenders to keep my shirt tucked in and after a dozen times of being reminded my shirt was pulled out by my manager I decided to give these a shot. I’m 140lb and tend to run thin. That being said I basically adjusted them as tight and short as possible and adjusted out from there. My gf makes fun of them and tbh she’s right it is kinda goofy looking but it works. Mine don’t ride up because I have adjusted them correctly, but they are a little uncomfortable just in general. I’ve never had one of the clasp pull off my shirts either I’m more afraid of them tearing them. Overall I’m used to them after a week just like cufflinks or collar stays ties and everything else looking professionally dressed takes work. These just take it to another level

Do not stay in place
These shirt stays do not stay in place. Multiple time I had to adjust the straps and many of the times I was unable to get them straightened out leading to very sharp stabs to the upper knee and many of those times to the upper thigh.

These work
I mean, if you are looking for men's shirt garters you either know what the problem is, or you are a time traveler from 1954... in either case you won't be disappointed: these work. They keep your shirt tucked in tight and they don't show up as unsightly, difficult to explain bumps, even in skinny pants. If you want to look sharp, and you don't go for that "untucked" look... these are the antithesis of "untucked". Your shirt will be TIGHT my friend... and those fitted shirts will just look that much better. Price was nice too.

Black 02 - Good, but not Great
This review is for the Black 02 shirt stays.First and foremost, the product performs exactly as needed. One of the clips came broken, but it was very easy to fix myself and I have not had another issue since.Unfortunately, the design of the thigh style shirt stays mean that if your shirt is longer, the straps will need to be placed very low on the thigh. In my case, my dress shirts are very long and the straps had to be placed almost an inch away from my knee. Because I am a bit more muscular, this was not much of an issue as the strap can not ride up very much. If you're skinnier, you'll probably have a bad time and should look into the whole leg style of shirt stays.I wish now that I had purchased the Black 01 rather than 02. The shirt straps coming from a single point mean that I can not clip them where I would like to while also ensuring that they're all stretched properly. It keeps my shirt from coming untucked, but does not pull it back down fully at all. Adjustable length shirt straps would probably fix this issue. With that being said, I now only have to "tidy up" my shirt rather than fully tucking it in.I definitely recommend these. I've always been annoyed when my shirt comes untucked l, but now I don't have to worry about it.
