NEWTON BRAND CRIB MATTRESS
NEWTON BRAND CRIB MATTRESS5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This product provides more peace of mind for a parent than any other baby product on the market. This mattress is fully breathable leaving no worry or concern for your child’s wellbeing while they are asleep. We’ve ordered this product multiple times, one for each of our children, despite the steep price, because it is that quality of a product. The outside lining of the mattress is easily removed with a zipper and is machine washable. However, the inside of the mattress can be simply washed and cleaned with a hose or in the shower. It’s water proof and is best rinsed off in the bathtub if a bathroom accident occurs. We simply leave it out to air dry after it’s sprayed off and have never had a problem.Products that are necessary, quality made, and safe are worth the elevated price to me! This product is a nonnegotiable in our household and I hope it’ll be a staple for your family too!Lastly, if you purchase a transitional crib, one made to also be used as a toddler bed too, you’ll be able to use this mattress for years. The crib mattress is large enough to grow with the child and made to accommodate cribs style starter beds ranging all the way through the toddler years.

Peace of Mind
***UPDATE***My daughter ended up using this for two years. It never sagged or got an indentation. It was so easy to clean and air dry. I only stopped using it when my daughter got too tall for a crib and I got her a twin bed.Another bonus - since this is such a high quality mattress, you can sell it when you're done. I sold mine at a local consignment sale for $50 after two years of use - so happy I got this and if I had another baby I'd buy a new one to bring them home from the hospital to.I never put any sheet or anything on it. I highly recommend HALO sleep sacks for babies and toddlers. No need for any sheets or blankets on the bed.***ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW***When my daughter was around 6 months old and learned to roll over, my husband and I were scared half to death to frequently find her face down, hands cupping her cheeks, during her naps. We would immediately turn her head to the side and a couple times she gasped for air when we did. Some people tried to assure me that, once babies can roll over, there's nothing to worry about when they sleep since they'll automatically turn their heads when they need air. However, after looking into it, I found research that babies who are used to sleeping on their backs, once they finally roll over and sleep on their stomachs for the first time, have a 20% or so higher chance of suffocating than infants who sleep on their stomachs from birth, because they aren't used to it and sometimes don't rouse themselves in time.We weren't able to sleep without constantly checking on her. I researched options and found the Newton breathable crib mattress. After reading everything on their website, I decided it was the one. It doesn't off-gas, it doesn't have chemicals, it's mostly air. We ordered it on Prime instead of from their website directly to get faster shipping. Once it arrived my husband and I, like others here, tested it by pressing our faces down against it and trying to breathe - it is a bit stuffy, of course, but you can breathe. And it doesn't smell like anything. No need to air it out before baby uses it.It is more firm than our "firm" crib mattress we were using previously. Our daughter doesn't leave any indent in it at all. It looks incredibly easy to clean; just use some cold water. It's some kind of polymer in a 3-D web. The cover is padded but has holes and layers so that it doesn't block air. Don't put any sheet or water-proof cover on this mattress, as that would block the air. It really doesn't need those things, since even if pee leaked or spit up got on it you just wash it off. It has nothing that could get moldy like other mattresses.Of course, we don't want to teach our daughter that it's okay to sleep with her face down, so if we find her like that, we do turn her head. But now we aren't constantly worried about her suffocating if we happen to not notice her being face down. For peace of mind, I highly recommend this mattress. We're going to move our daughter back to her original mattress once she's a toddler and save this one for when we have the next baby.

Peace of Mind
We initially bought a Serta foam mattress, but I hadn’t taken out of the package yet as I didn’t like the way the mattress looked through the packaging. When I read reviews on it many people warned that it dipped after a few months. So I quickly started researching a great mattress that had quality, breathability and easy to take care of. And I came across the Newton infant/toddler mattress as one of the highest rated and recommended ones by many of the websites I visited.Honestly, I am so thankful we made the investment. Sure $300 for an infant mattress sounds expensive, but you can’t put a price on life. The mattress is breathable, so you don’t have to worry about them rolling over and suffocating. It’s also very comfortable, my baby sleeps great and the durability of it seems like he can sleep in it until he grows out of it. Also, I love the fact that it is 100% washable.Overall it gives me peace of mind when I place my baby down to sleep.

Safe, Comfy, Worth It
I bought the Newton Baby Crib Mattress for my toddler, and it’s been a great choice! Its ultra-breathable Wovenaire core reduces suffocation risk, and the Greenguard Gold certification ensures no toxic chemicals.Pros:• Breathable Design: Air flows freely, giving me peace of mind about safety.• Comfortable: My toddler sleeps soundly; it’s firm yet cozy.• Easy to Clean: Machine-washable cover handles messes well.• Durable: Feels sturdy and built to last through toddler years.Cons:• Pricey: A bit expensive, but the quality justifies it.• Heavy: Slightly bulky to set up, but not a dealbreaker.Overall: This mattress is a fantastic mix of safety, comfort, and durability. It’s a splurge, but the breathability and non-toxic materials make it worth it for my child’s sleep. Highly recommend!

Most Wanted Gift on Baby Registry
I purchased this mattress from my son and daughter-in-law's baby registry. It was at the top of their most wanted list. They love everything about it. I'm impressed with the advancements in crib mattresses since my own kids' baby days. The breathable top and thickness is a win. It seems it will be comfortable for my new grandbaby. That it can be used for a toddler bed is a win as well. When my loved ones are happy, I'm happy.

Worth the price
This is very pricey compared to other crib mattresses, but seems to be firm enough to be preventative for SIDS or the baby not being able to breathe if they flip over on their stomach. Very pleased.
