The adhesive is garbage but the product is excellent and very fairly priced just be prepared to buy your own double faced tape

Far too expensive for what you’re receiving.I noticed right from the get go that the back of this product wasn’t flat and most likely would not sit flat against my dash panel. I lightly sanded (in a cross hatch pattern) the back of this microphone holder so as to have good adhesion with the supplied double stick tape. I used alcohol to clean both surfaces before applying the tape. Well, It only took a few minutes before the tape came loose from the plastic. Not only that, but for seven dollars, it should have a means to keep the mic from dangling around.My opinion; it’s a 10 cent piece of junk plastic.

I was going to use this to mount my mic on the dash horizontally, as the black plastic would blend in better than a big chrome one, but there is no retention in this holder. If you hang it vertically, like 90% of applications, it's great. I don't worry about the cheap self adhesive thingy, as I either use proper adhesive or a screw anyway. But bonus points to the manufacturer for not sticking one side on the holder and making removal a pain. Quality wise, the molding is clean and precise, the ABS plastic seems strong enough and the slot is the correct size to hold the microphone stud without a lot of slop but be easy to insert.Overall, a good holder, just don't rely on the cheesy self adhesive pad.

The holder itself is constructed out of a decent plastic. The size & shape is pretty good to act as a holder for the microphone. My Yeasu FTM-300DR mic fit it just right. Well, until it fell off. See, the adhesive, the double-sided tape that you need to mount this, was just horrid. Really, really horrid. It didn't stick at all. The weight of the microphone, which is negligible, was too much for it. I can still use this, but I now have to track down some good double-sided tape. The price on this is pretty good, considering, but plan ahead, you'll need to bring your own tape.

The sticky pad kinda sucked, but with some additional glue, it stuck like a champ even in the TX heat!

Quality clip, adhesive not so great. I recommend using a piece of 3M double sided tape if you want this to stick.

Well as another posted the sticky pad it comes with is totally inadequate, so much so that within 5 minutes of use it failed. Now unfortunately I didn't see that it had fallen off and I accidentally kicked out of my truck. Now lost to wherever it was that happend.
