Efficient cooler
Keeps temps lower over longer gaming sessions, I purchased a like new cooler for $30 so for that price it's great, bigger than I expected but looks good with the laptop on it. RGB is fairly bright, fan can be adjusted with a dial, I'm keeping it on full at all times and it doesn't get very loud especially compared to the laptop fans

It completely lives up to its reputation
I play on an MSI Pulse GL 66, which is a great laptop, but it gets HOT. It's never overheated to the point it shut down, but it regularly gets super hot to the touch and, during high intensity situations (like in certain parts of Cyberpunk or boss fights in FFXIV), the "oh sh!t" fans would occasionally kick on. Even thought my laptop isn't overheating per se, the higher temperatures make me worry about its longevity. I wanted to try something, but I didn't want to go through the trouble of applying new thermal paste, so I read several reviews that all agreed this is the best cooling pad on the market, and this thing seriously lives up to the hype.I found it hard to believe two things: 1) that the fan would be silent. It is. The only way you're going to hear it is if you shut down your computer and listen in a completely silent room, and even then it's only a whisper, even at the highest speed. So, set yours on as fast as it will go, because you can't hear it anyway. 2) I didn't believe it would work. It works, and probably much better than you think it will. My CPU usually ran in the 60s and 70s on easy stuff, then it would hit the 80s (along with much louder fans) during intense stuff, and then Oh Sh!t fans would kick on at 90. Now, with this pad on full blast, the temperature never goes above 80 (I usually see 70-80 during high-intensity areas like boss fights or in major cities) and the internal fans rarely speed up above normal (that's right; this thing is powerful enough to keep the laptop from having to use its own fans). The "hopspot" above the keyboard never heats above warm (whereas it was nearly searing before), and the bottom of the laptop is always cool to the touch. The LED lighting is cool, too, if you're into that sort of thing. I just stuck mine on red and left it, but it does other colors and patterns that I haven't played with. Just be warned that this requires two USB-A ports. One powers the fan and the other powers the RGB.I have one concern, though. To help with airflow and because of my desk space, I keep the pad on its most vertical setting. The tab that holds the laptop in place is both small (maybe 2.5"-3") and is made of the same thin plastic as the rest of the pad. It's fine now, but I'm worried it won't be able to sustain the weight of the laptop in the long term. I have a new desk coming soon, and it has a place where I will probably be able to keep the pad at a flatter setting. Hopefully that will prevent any issues.Even with that small problem (that may or may not actually be a problem), I still 100% recommend this. It does literally everything it says.

Do not use for gaming pcs
Have been using for 3 years now, and it still works as fine as the day I got it.It does not cool your laptop, or it's very bad at it. Not meant for gaming laptops for sure. However, the adjustable stand, lights, and durability is really freakin' amazing.

Best RGB surround cooling pad
Using this on my DELL XPS 15. I've been hearing that some people dont find this effective in cooling their laptop and I want to clear up some things. I live in Seattle and recently we hit 120 degrees and this thing worked great. Just a reminder that plugging this in your laptop will actually heat it up, so try to plug it to an outlet or as you can see in my picture, I have it plugged into my Anker 26800. If you want to cool your laptop just try not to have so much USB plugged into it - well, thats one tip. There aren't a lot of cooling pads with a fan this huge ( 200mm) and I'd rather have that than several small ones. The RGB surround is very unique as well, which initially was my reason in picking it.It comes with 2 usb plugs to power it because the manufacturer said older laptops cant power it with just 1, but if your laptop is fairly new it should be fine. But like I said, try to power this from an outlet or a portable charger. If you dont like the three headed cable they gave you, you can buy a normal two headed 12v dc to usb cable for about $7.I'm about to buy a 2nd one of this for my new XPS 17 and I don't regret it. However, if you dont like this one, two other models I would have considered are the KLIM Halo (125mm fans) and KLIM Nova.If you work from home and stare at your screen all day, the extra lift from Nova and Ultimate have the highest lift. Some of these cooling pads have short 2 inch legs that don't really do anything - and they're flimsy. Look at the legs of KLIM Halo for example. All in all, this is a good cooling pad. It's slim enough for travel once its folded (unlike some thicc cooling pads like KLIM Airflow), the RGB surround is an awesome and unique feature. The fan is huge at 200mm. And its good for working too since the legs stand up a good 8 inches so you're not always straining your neck looking down. But you don't have to put it this high. At the lowest laid flat its 2 inches. 3 inches on the lowest lift - which is my default setting. If there's anything I want improved on this, I say 1) a normal dc to usb cable 2) a bigger AND faster fan. But really folks, I haven't seen a cooling pad with a bigger fan so goodluck. And for those wishing this had extra USB ports - it's good that it doesn't. Because when you plug anything to that port, the power of the fan can decrease and in addition, heat up the main power source. Both bad conditions if you're thinking of plugging this directly to your laptop.Anyway, I don't review products much but I protect the things that enable me to work and make a living. This thing saved my life in 120 degree temperature for several unexpected days. It really stepped up to the challenge and I hope this review helps you out.
