I need this for my work keys which are heavy and needed something better than what I had. I thought this would be the same quality as a heavy duty carabiner but I was mistaken. It's much lighter weight and plastic feeling then what I exspected.It does the job and works well. No issues with the opening part. I received a black one which was fine. Would look for the more heavy duty one I was interested in before buying this again.

Other than catching on my shirt most of the time, this has been perfect. The first time my keys ended up in my back pocket was a little alarming, but it's nice to know this is just long enough to do that, without swinging from my butt to my front pocket.

This carabiner is WAY smaller than expected. It is probably about half the size of what I would expect a "standard" carabiner to be. For what it is, I'm sure we can find some use for it around the house but my husband was going to use it as a keychain and there is no way it will work for him.

This product meets the need of a keychain with the benefit of having the carabiner to attach it your self or a bag, but my mistake was I didn't read the description close enough. I thought I was getting a pack of 5 carabiners. I would not have paid nearly $3 for 1. Face it these are simple little keychains, nothing fancy. Paying a dollar for it would be expensive, in my opinion. The product itself I have no problem with.

Image always blue, but got silver, which is why I'm deducting 1 start. However, clip of strong and gets the job done.

I needed a small one in order to conveniently hang my keys on a safety vest I use daily when I get in and out of the car for deliveries. The fastener has a weak snap back and it feels like cheap plastic though it is metal. It does what I need, but I wouldn’t try to hang anything more than a pound or such. My keys have a belt loop fastener that is strong but too small to fit around the vest’s cloth strap. I trust THAT device to open and close all day, but not this carabiner one. If you intend to use this for that purpose rather than a one-time open close doohickey to hang something on, get something else. This is pretty cheap. 2.5 starsEDIT - Worthless. I needed a couple of these large key chains for a different use that they work so well for. I have a small fence in the back yard to keep my curious dogs out of the area where our water pressure tank and air conditioner fan with the many wires and pipes that the pups don't need to be anywhere around. However I do need to gain access to the fenced in area so these key chains make it easy to get in and out.

It definitely looks worn, all the keys scratched away the paint to the point where it looks greyish, but it doesn't bother me, it's sturdy and serves my purpose.
