Snapware Snap 'N Stack Ribbon Dispenser, 6.6-Inch by 9.8-Inch

Note to manufacturer: If you have stopped making this item, please start again! I use these to hold my paint bottles! It is the perfect size to hold up to 25 of the 2-oz. paint bottles. Since I often paint with friends, I use this to transport my paint in the top section. I can put stylists or pencils, etc. in the bottom portion. Plus, they all snap together so I can carry a lot of paint with me easily! I need more! Great item for this!

The picture does not show very clearly that there are slits in the larger compartment so that ribbon OR WASHI TAPE can be pulled to the outside. There is a bar inside that holds the tape or ribbon spools, and it does not spin, so each tape or ribbon can be pulled out independently. There are 5 slits, 1.25 inches each. That is enough for 2 tapes of standard size in each slit, and the tape end sticks nicely to the edge until needed again. It will not work for duct tape, which is too wide for the slit. The other compartment can hold the scissors to cut tape, I have not tried to tear it right off without scissors.Look everywhere, this is one of only 2 devices I can find to hold washi tape. The other one is a lazy-susan of tape-dispensers - which means it needs to take up desktop space. This one can be stashed in a closet or under a bed and protect the tape from sticking to whatever...

I bought this for my sister who has a lot of craft ribbon. She needed a way to store all that ribbon. I read the dimensions but when I received them, thought that they seemed smaller than I expected. The quality was there, but not the size.

This works perfect for my scrapbooking supplies. I love that I can stack them together and they connect by the snap on the bottom. I have 4-5 boxes that are snapped together to keep supplies all in one place. High recommend this product.

For storage

I was expecting the “rod” to be more secure in the container so the ribbon could unravel off the spool easily when I go to use it... instead it’s more of a pain in the ass. It works to store them but I wanted something more usable.

I now own 3 of these. They keep my often-used ribbon close at hand while remaining neat and tidy, They hold at least 10 of my crafting ribbon spools. Some of the Stampin Up ribbon spools are so narrow that they hold many more than 10. I have had my original one for over a year and it is very durable. The catches are not showing any signs of wear or damage.

Why did I not find this earlier. Excellent durable container for my ribbons holds loads on the spindle and also the drawer at the bottom so useful, being see through helps find what is needed or what I need to buy!

With or without the inner rod it's great to have. I have all the rods from all these I bought, together to be used for something else, but the container itself is great and perfect for many many things. Thank you Snapware.
