You get two small but heavy boxes and then another very large one (spare a thought for the delivery driver!), which ultimately leave your with more than 30 plastic bags and a lot of carboard to get rid of. The product is made in China so the instructions read like the dialogue from an early Bruce Lee movie but, if you are methodical and take your time, you can make sense of them. In one step they incorrectly told me to put a metal plate in the wrong place and it took a complete dismantle to recover it when it was really needed towards the end of the assembly. Oh!, and just one little thing that is hardly worth mentioning, the instructions don't actually tell you to fit the weight blocks at all - another dismantle if you don't spot it on the way through. The tools they give you aren't man enough for the job so it would be worth investing in some cheap spanners if you don't already have them.It's a reasonable bit of kit for the money but I actually had to drill a bigger 32mm hole in the top block because it would not actually slide back down the guide pole until I did. Otherwise, the friction created more heat and made the problem so bad that the gym was unusable. After dismantling twice, it's working fine!

This machines is ok for what I want to use it for. Had a bit of hassle putting it up then after 4 hours realised parts were missing. Contacted the seller and had them 2 days later. If you buy this please check all parts are there on delivery. I got right near the end and found out I couldn't use it. All completed now though so hopefully I can put it to good use for now onwards and build some muscle 😂

Excellent multi gym, delivery was quick, (might be worth noting mine came with two differing couriers) which caused some confusion when only one box arrived, a quick phone call put my mind at ease and the rest duly followed a couple of hours later.Assembly wasnt too bad, taken me and my girlfriend about 3 and a half hours, abit of common sense and it seemed to go together problem free.Having been using the multi gyms various bits and pieces now for over a week it all seems to be made of steong robust materials and does exactly as it should. The only thing i would say is the cable for the butterfly deck is a little loose, meaning the first 3 inch of the exercise is virtually resistance free.. but i cant see this being a huge problem.For the money paid for this im more than happy with it, the customer support was good when i had to ring about delivery.. so no complaints and id definitely recommend.

The machine itself looks ok when built, but this is the problem. It comes with 2 essential bolts, nuts and washers missing and it took me almost 2 weeks to get these sent out after poor communication and apparently having to wait to see if the bolts were available. The company offered to send out a bag of resistance bands as a good will gesture once I opened a dispute with Amazon but I never received these either, or a response to my emails about them. You will pay slightly more looking elsewhere, but I would doubt you’d receive a worse service than here.

I purchased this a Christmas present for my best friend as she wanted to loose a little weight (she didn’t need to) and tone up. Now the equipment itself is awesome, well put together, easy to assemble and easy to use, you can get a great work out with it. The only issue I had with it, is now I have to try and catch up before our planned holiday as she is looking pretty good and I’m seriously not, so it has forced me to look at my life choices and kick my ass into gear.

I was looking for a workout machine for home use that is also easy to store away when not in use.After looking at rowing machines, home trainers and others, I stumbled over the Total Gym offer on Amazon. I had heard of the total gym before, but was not aware that is is actually sold outside the US.Well, I bought it and turns out the Total Gym X-Large is actually a very good work out machine. I'm using it now for almost two months pretty much every other day for about 20 min and feel the impact of the workout. I've build up strength and feel more energized than before.And the work out is fun, since there are lots of exercises and it never (well, at least so far) gets boring.When I ordered the Total Gym X-Large I was a bit concerned that even with the X-Large in the name it might not be big and sturdy enough for me (standing at 6'4), but it works great.The whole device looks and feels sturdy and secure even when I put the angle up to the highest setting.The bench is about 44 inches long and 13 inches wide and provides enough space for me, and the cables are also long enough to perform the exercises properly.The package includes a booklet with a lot of exercises shown and a DVD that show some of the exercises in more detail.It's also pretty fast to set up the Total Gym and again fast to fold it to a compact size for stowing it away.All in all, a really good machine that I definitely would buy again.

Le total gym est un appareil super complet, mais j'aurais au moins souhaité un mode d'emploi en français, heureusement j'ai trouvé un site avec tous les exercices possibles. Vu le prix de l'appareil une traduction aurait été la bienvenue! La livraison impeccable, sur rendez vous avec le transporteur. Délai de livraison respecté par Amazon.
