The anime finale and beyond!
So just finished reading this and had to write my thoughts while they’re still fresh in my mind.First of all for anyone who doesn’t know this is the third omnibus of the English translation of the Elfen Lied manga, it contains vol.7 8 & 9 (ch.61-82 + 2 short story specials from vol.8).There is a Parental Advisory sticker on the book due to its explicit content. Now onto the actual review of the content. By this point the artwork is much better than where the series started. The author even mentioned that fact in the afterward to vol.8.For those of you who have seen the anime the second half of Kurama’s flash back scene (ep.10) Starts off this omnibus then it goes to the showdown (ep. 13 ). While the showdown has all the same people and basically same events take place between the manga and anime the order in which everything happens was rearranged. But the anime still managed to wrap up similarly to the end of vol 7. (which just so happened to be right before a six-month time jump) The only exception is the second fight between Lucy and Bando takes place in vol. 9.From this point on it’s all new material for me and I’m liking how Lynn expands on Chief Kakuzawa’s evil plan, as well as getting more information on what happened to some of the other side characters. The relationship between the members of Kohta's "surrogate family" gets tested multiple times. Also three new characters that work for Chief Kakuzawa show up that have varying levels of influence on what happens later on. There’s not much more to say about this book without getting into heavy spoilers so I’m just gonna leave it at that.Overall I am very pleased with this omnibus and can’t wait for number four!

Minimal damages
Book arrived with dents and a bit of glue stuck on the very top set of the book. Looks like some of the same glue used to keep the pages attached to the book. At first I was a little annoyed. I could probably ask for a replacement, but I think I'm going to appreciate the book for what it is than what it has around it. Not like because of these minorities it effects my whole reading process and appreciating the book. Besides, all books somehow end up damaged their own way throughout time.

Still ew
Still some background plot that is not well developed or explained. I thought there was some character growth but then there was an orgy at the end. This manga can't decide if it's harem or sci fi.

Fantastic series highly recommend!!
(The one star has nothing to do with this book or author!) 5/5 stars for the story and art, it's the third one out of 4 so you know how wonderful this series can get. absolutely fantastic for Lynn okamoto love this manga would be awesome if were to make a Brynhildr in the Darkness omnibuses just like as Elfen lied! but as for shipping 0/5. Brand new book indents all over the back from shipping was just tossed in a bubble mailer. Definitely not the first time I've pre ordered a manga shipped from Amazon and comes ripped or damaged!

Good book
Really adds more content to the story and characters that is direly missing from the animation. If you're a big fan of this series I wouldn't miss out on the omnibuses.

A happy Elfen Lied fan. (3 down. 1 to go.)
Being a fan on Elfen Lied, I was excited to hear they were selling Omnibus versions as I was not able to get the manga in Australia at the time (I never went to book stores that much as manga wasn't as popular as it is today). The anime is good but has plot holes. The manga helps fill in those gaps.Excellent condition.Money well spent.
