LuminoxLand Black OPS Carbon 8800 Men's Grey Face Watch A.8802

I bought this watch for the illumination. My son has a similar Luminox which is all black and only has every other hour illuminated. This watch is much easier to read by comparison due to the gray rather than black face. Yet it's still very subdued in appearance. I really like the illumination, super easy to read in the dark, especially with the twelve-o-clock position being a different color and every hour being illuminated. Additionally, all three hands and the index on the rotating bezel are very readable in the dark. The Bezel itself has a very nice one way ratchet at every minute but it's a little hard to read the numbers due to the lack of contrast coloration of the markings. In general the watch feels rugged and well made but also light weight and comfortable on my average size wrist. I have used it during water sports and swimming with no issues. It's rated at 200 meters but I would be hesitant to use it for scuba diving due to the absence of a screw down crown. It seems to keep good time, to the second, compared to my Seiko Prospex Dive watch. I would consider this a very nice sport watch. I really like the lighter weight and the low light illumination is beyond compare even to my trusty Seiko.

This is my 3rd Luminox. They are great watches! Bright numbers and hands! Looks good and works well!

I bought this to replace a Blackout SEAL watch from luminox, that finally died after 20 years, but the tritium inserts still glow a little. These are fantastic functional watches that are beautiful to look at. The tritium makes the watch easy to see in the dark, and it's so light you don't even realize you're wearing a watch. Been diving dozens of times with it, never had a leak. I'll wear a smart watch for runs and other workouts, but who needs a gps tracker every minute of the day, and privacy policies on health data they collect are questionable.

This watch has a nice easy to read face, colors are discrete yet it is perfect for everyday use.It has a nice quality wide rubber strap and at night, the Lume is just Awesome, well of course it is, it’s a Luminox 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

My everyday go to and easy to read

It took a long time for me to pick out a watch but this one is great. Looks and feels like high quality material. See pic. Holds up well and I love it. A lot of y’all nerds like to wear them super tight and I ain’t down for that so I wear it a little loose and it fits great. One of the better buys I’ve had on Amazon

Love the subdued look and light weight. Deadly accurate also

I bought this watch mainly because the picture in the description showed very well lit hands and number position which is important to me due to my aging eyes. The picture in the description showing the illumination is not accurate. The hands and numbers are still phosphorus and are only as bright as the amount of light they are exposed to. I'll keep the watch as it is light and comfortable to wear for its size but I am disappointed in the inaccurate description.

Sturdy and well constructed. Big fan of Luminox watches. Easy to read especially in the dark when the luminous hands and hour markers shine through. Always readable and excellent water resistance. Kudos Luminox

Eines vorweg, ich habe die Uhr bei einem authorisierten Luminox Händler erworben, da Luminox bereits auf der eigenen Website [...] deutlich darauf hinweisst das es im Garantiefall einen Unterschied macht, wo die Uhr gekauft wurde. Das sind je nach Händler bequem 80-100 Euro (bei der 8802). Ich kaufte beim Amazon Händler olfert&co. Die Uhr kam pünktlich wie angegeben und mit ausgefüllter Garantiekarte.Nun zur Uhr. Das Armband ist nicht so steif wie ich befürchtet habe, da ich eine Rezension gelesen hatte, in der ein Käuf dies bemängelte. Es fühlt sich an wie irgendwas zwischen Gummi, Silikon und PU - schwer zu definieren. Macht aber einen robusten und festen Eindruck.Da ich nicht die dicksten Arme habe, hatte ich befürchtungen das die Uhr etwas zu gross sein könnte. Aber ich muss sagen das sie optimal passt und ich bin mir sicher das kräftigere Arme auch noch Ok sind. Jaja, jetzt sagt das ja immer noch nix über meine Arme aus, aber glaubt mir, die sind am Handgelenk eher dünn :)Was mir an der 8802 so gut gefällt, ist die Kombination der Farben. Sie ist nach der 8801 die am besten, gerade bei Tag, abzulesende Uhr (meine Meinung) in der BLACK OPS CARBON Serie. Alternativen am Markt sind vor allem die Modelle von traser und KHS... halt Geschmackssache. KHS hat mehr Klassiker und traser mehr modische Modelle. Luminox liegt für meinen Geschmack genau dazwischen.Ich gebe der Uhr 5 Steren, da sie genau das erfüllt, was ich erwartet habe.

I did not pay full price for this so quite happy, a good make of watch you can rely on, if you can get one for the right price,Watch is very light weight with its resin/carbon case, gas filled viles glow for about 25 years, not bright but enough to see time in pitch darkness.

Die Uhr trägt sich sehr angenehm und sieht gut aus. Aufgrund der Farbgestaltung schwarz auf grau am Tage gut ablesbar. Durch das Beleuchtungssystem mit Tritium leuchtet die Uhr permanent. Am Tage nicht sichtbar aber sobald es dunkel zeigt sich der Vorteil der Tritiumbeleuchtung. Man kann die Uhr jederzeit problemlos ablesen. Je dunkler desto heller wirkt die Beleuchtung.

Klasse Uhr,schön leicht und eine echter Eyecatcher.
