Each page has gorgeous, colorful, detailed pictures alongside a description of the bird you are looking at.*It came with a sleeve over the book, but I took it off prior to making the video so the hardcover version DOES come with a sleeve over it that is identical to the cover and backside.

great for young children

My son is obsessed with birds. This book has brought him so much joy. If your little one is curious about birds or a little bird fanatic order this book. The cover did fall off but this was after him carrying it around all day everyday for the past two months. It has a ton of information that is simple for a young reader to learn along with some great colorful pictures of beautiful birds.

Wonderful book. Bright colors and just the right amount of facts. Our five year old was rapt with attention and curiosity.

This is really an interesting book about birds all over with beautiful photographs of them as well as the basic facts about them.

My niece loves it and she's 9.

I bought this for a 7 year old birding enthusiast. I think it's at a 3rd grade reading level but I think she will enjoy the images and factoids. Really great photos.
