Equinox Nylon Mesh Stuff Bag

Great as a reusable lunch sack. I used paper lunch bags for many years. Paper sacks are easily ripped, get wet and fall apart, aren't reusable (in any significant way), and let's face it -- require trees to be sacrificed. I bought one of these Nylon Mesh Stuff Sacks sight unseen, thinking I might be able to use it to organize "stuff" in my everyday carry backpack. That didn't work out, but I quickly realized this would make a perfect reusable lunch sack. Unlike a paper bag, this stuff stack won't tear, can be reused, rinsed out if needed, and won't require more trees to be cut down to make an item that is used once and thrown away.

I know, how do you review a mesh bag? Well, let me tell you what I was looking for and why I purchased this particular mesh bag. I needed something to put our camp dinnerware in that would let air in and let any water from washing the dishes drip out so the dishes dry out. I saw mesh bags that were made of a mesh fabric that were made with thinner mesh and I was afraid they wouldn't hold up to the weight of the dinnerware. The Equinox Nylon Mesh Stuff Sack fabric is sturdier. I have enamel dinnerware and it handles the weight of a set of dinnerware for 4 people without any problem. There is a locked drawstring cord at the top of the bag to keep everything secure inside of the bag. This bag can be used for all kinds of things. I'm planning to get more of them to pack towels for our upcoming camping trip. I can think of all kinds of things that can be packed in them.

I bought the medium size (11x16) to use as a gym shower bag. I carry TSA sized travel containers of soap, shampoo, and conditioner. I throw in a toothbrush, toothpaste, face wash, and a wash cloth. Previously I was using a gallon sized ziplock bag, but that had two problems. 1) I couldn't hang it anywhere and 2) it wouldn't dry out completely and would always be slightly damp. This is a much better solution since I can hang this bag off the shower handle (or shower head depending) and because it's mesh, it can actually dry out.The only fault I have is if I'm hanging it by the cord and I have items in the bag still (if there was no shower shelf) then the bag cinches up and I have to open it each time. I can probably just think of/find a better way to hang the bag, but considering this is my only complaint I'm super happy with this purchase. And so are the people who don't have to smell sweaty post-gym me.

I use this bag as a throw bag to get my string over a branch for my bear bag hang system. I usually try to save as much weight as possible but trying to tie the string to a rock can be annoying (or if you tie it to your water bottle you have a chance of breaking that). This is the perfect sized bag because you want a fairly heavy object to help get the string to a higher branch. This stuff sack is perfect because you can also fit a 1L Nalgene water bottle in it if you are unable to find a rock or other heavy object.Pros:-lightweight-tear-proof-fits a 1L Nalgene-small storage spaceCons:-it does add weight to the base weight however it isn't that muchOverall:I would recommend this for anyone who is not insane about shedding weight but wants the ability to easily set up a bear bag especially if they have had a long hike and want to set up for the night quickly.*****Update 12 Jan 2017*****I have used this bag many times while on the trail. It has taken a beating and kept going. It has lasted from everything from being torn through dead branches to landing on a sharp rock with weight inside of it. This is the perfect size because a one liter Nalgene water bottle fits perfectly in the sack which makes throwing it easier. If this bag ever breaks I would definitely buy this one again.

I've owned three bags of different sizes for almost three years now and they are like new. I use them everyday. The large one contains my gym shoes and flip flops. The medium size goes in the shower with me, and the small one I use for aftershave, power, and deordiant.

I was looking for a way to store the dock lines, etc. on our boat, and needed something that would let the wet gear dry.These sacks are perfect: they look great, they are super durable, the cinch at the top is handy and heavy duty.The best part? I looked at the label to see where they are made: MADE IN THE U.S.A. ! :)

I was looking for mesh bags everywhere until I bought one of these. I liked so much, I soon bought another. The construction is ROCK solid in every respect. I think you could put 25 Lbs of anything in these and they still would hold up!! They are so the perfect size, I use it to stash my soaps, shampoo, hair conditioner and alike for showering at the gym. They dry very fast and because the mesh is nice and large, they don't get moldy or smell.

I got this to use as a laundry bag when I go to the gym or travel. It seems just right for that purpose. The fact that it's mesh is helpful. When I pull it out of my pack, I know right away what's in it and whether it's full. It's also washable. I was not able to find a suitable product locally. In fact, I had some trouble making sales people understand what I wanted. This is one of the things I appreciate about Amazon.

Light weight and we'll made. I wish it was a little larger but still a good product.
