Hands down the best can opener I have ever purchased. I’ve been through countless different can openers over the years. I’m talking, expensive. They never lasted long. However, this one has been working perfectly well over a year. That’s a record for me. It’s very easy to twist, no sharp edges, perfect for any size can.

It’s small, it’s manual and what’s with the look. This opener is great. Hold with one hand, turn with the other, left or right handed, side of the lid cut and does a clean job of it. Easy turn handle, which is great with people who have hand issues. Don’t let its looks fool you. This is hands down the best can opener I have ever owned.

My husband and I are starting to have osteoarthritis in our hands. Our very old can opener was also beginning to fail as many cans are slightly damaged around the rims. I read many reviews of the fan openers offered for sale and decided to try this one. I liked the idea of no sharp edges.I am happy to say that this opener exceeded my expectations. So much easier than any manual can opener I have ever used! We are loving it and will be telling people we know about the ease of use and the safer edges of the lid and can.Turning the handle does not hurt my hand, nor does holding the opener to the can. Lifting the cut off lid is not difficult either. I am really pleased!

It might seem an odd shape, but it works better than other styles to cleanly open a can. There's no sharp edges on opened cans or lids for you or your kids to get cut on, and the mechanicals are tough enough that they should last for years. No more bent and distorted handles, or dulled or dented cutter blades, or defective gears that grind or loose a tooth. It's easy to operate by hand, and won't leave you stranded if you loose power.The lids after opening can be refit to the can, but I wouldn't treat it like it was resealable, and only as a temporary cover. Keep in mind that the lids will no longer drop into the can's contents, so if you're used to using them as a stopper or strainer, you might have to rethink how to drain liquids with them - but - that's not a reason not to use one of these for daily and heavy use when needed.

I read virtually every review of so-called “safety” can openers on Amazon, and took a chance on this one because it was more compact than any other design, with greater utility than other single-purpose designs.The only question was, Would it work? Several can openers in this category were reported to be too bulky for small cans, or required too much technique to hold in place, or required too much elbow grease.This can opener has none of those flaws. It attaches securely to all sizes of cans, easily clears the counter when used on low-height cans, and cuts cleanly and smoothly. It is very well-made, too. I’d buy it again any day, and don’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

This was the greatest can opener I’ve ever owned, BUT it lasted only for a little more than one year (1 year, 4 months to be exact).The wheel stopped getting a good grip on the can. The first sign of a problem was turning the knob would cause the can to occasionally slip. Eventually it would just cause the cutter to shave the sides, leaving tiny metal shards, but not cut the can open.Conclusion: I loved this can opener but it’s life span was way too short.

I love this can opener. I know it seems like such a simple thing... until you wreck the side of a can leaving burrs and metal shavings all over the place with a can opener that doesn't work.This opens cans easily. Only one pass needed and it cuts through to release the lid. No fuss no muss.

This can opener doesn't fool around. It cuts off the lid like a dream compared to the other wimpy can openers on the market. Because it cuts so well, it takes a good deal of horsepower to work it. If you have dexterity/strength/pain issues, you will find that this aggressive cutting through metal is too difficult. You don't get much leverage because the machine is so small. I am finding that it is a little challenging for a woman. I feel like I am going to mess up my wrist again.
