If you use LED light therapy for acne, rosacea, wrinkles, or hair re-growth these are a necessary protective device to protect from retinal damage and macular degeneration. I purchased the Project E Beauty Mini Foldable PDT LED 7 Color Photon Therapy which is a fantastic device; but the protective goggles provided are a thin, plastic pink pair that allows the red and yellow LED light to pass right through.I searched the professional sites for this type of laser protection glasses and found units that ranged from $125.00 to $300.00 or more. This unit was only $25.00 and arrived very quickly from China in a nicely sealed box with foam packing inside and a very nice eye glass case. There are four foam surround cushions (Giving you an extra pair.) included that are a little hard to put on but make the glasses very comfortable when worn.I used this with each of the 7 colors that the LED lamp provided and it blocked all of them out completely. At this price, if you go to a tanning parlor, you can afford to have your own stainless steel laser quality glasses that you can take with you. I wouldn't use any LED device without them!

I gave this a 3-stars because they is still quite a bit of light to reach through. The design is flawed in many ways. I will list the cons first then pros:CONS-Fits around eye-sockets only however it is a very solid structure that does not change. Therefore with this being said, not everyones facial structure around orbital region is the same. So this would cause seepage of light to come through, more at certain angles.-The stainless steel does a good job however, the "white" silicon added edges is a poor transition to block light by any means. It is certainly much more comfortable with them however, it causes the glasses to be slightly raised off the skin (from the cushion of the silicon) and makes light come in more. Again, worse at certain angles.-For most part, it blocks a lot of light, but even with eyes closed you can still tell excessive light comes in.-Overpriced for the CONS assoc. with this product.PROS-The strap is well adjustable and have no complaints with this.

Love these!! I own the Viss IPL [ VISS BEAUTY ] at home unit- it is the Real Deal and you need Professional Eye Wear Protection like the salons have. I used some cheaper ones I bought, and the glasses that come with the Viss Unit are too big- I like to get close under the Eyes- but my eyes would hurt afterwards- So I had to wait to used it under my eyes and forehead until these came... I used these and my Eyes Did Not Hurt Afterward-These were due to arrive in October and they CAME Last Week!! I am thrilled !!! :)

The strip that goes around your head got broken on the very first day. Other wise looks alright
