My new favorite bible
My only complaint is that I wish the pages were thicker. I love the huge font and this is my first time using a KJVer and it is very enjoyable to read. NASB is sad to be the most accurate and that is what I was reading until I discovered that they removed the latter half of Matthew 4:4 King James Version (KJV)4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. All it says in the NASB is that Man shall not live by bread alone. That was very upsetting so I decided to go back to KJV and thankfully I found out about KJVer. It is definitely a Godsend to someone who struggles to understand the archaic language of KJV.

Lovely Bible!
This is a lovely, lovely Bible. Layout is easy, holding/laying on lap is wonderful, lots of really useful, interesting info in back. Be careful on type of underliners/highliters as pages are very thin. Love words of Jesus in red & the red box for God's words quoted from OT & that it is very easy on my eyes--a MUST for me. Also like that I am assured the KJV for study purposes is intact, w/only mostly the 'thees & thous' changed. I am very happy I settled on this one, tho am still looking for the 'right' NASB (I don't have that translation).

An absolutely beautiful Bible
I bought this for my wife and she has one of the older purple sword Bibles from Gem Publishing. You can't get them anymore and I love the oversized print with the KJVER. Well, this is an upgrade in beauty and quality with the same great translation. My wife loved it and I would reorder again. The decoration isn't a graphic, it is etched into the cover and is just fantastic. Enjoy!

My Test Bible
I heard about this version of the King James Bible about a month ago and finally got around to finding one and buying it. I wanted to see how it read with the word substitutions and didn't know how much I would like it so I wanted to go economy. At this time I have spent very little time reading the text (it has been only two days) but from what I have read I do like it. I feel comforted that it is basically a KJV bible and should be accurate, although I will probably not use it as my study bible, I will use it to read with.I saw a YouTube video where the reviewer said that the binding was not Smyth-sewn but glued. When I got mine I checked and it does look like it is Smyth-sewn, which means that it should not fall apart just after you just get used to liking and using it.I do like the SWORD features. I bought the SWORD Study Bible, which isn't really a "Study Bible" in the classic sense. But for me that is good. It is a Study Bible because it has study helps in it to help you study and understand the text of the Bible instead of giving you commentary on the text like most study Bibles do.The Bible itself is very good quality for a Bible of this price (I got mine for $23 Prime). I got the Value edition which is the same as the Regular edition except for it has a different cover (made of the same material) and it doesn't have gold leafed page edges and no Bookmark ribbons. That is fine for what I need this Bible for. The only thing negative about this Bible is that the pages are thin, and they need to be because the description says it is 1.8 inches thick but it looks thicker. The thin pages have a little text ghosting where the text on the back side of the page is slightly visible. Not too badly though. The text lines are aligned with each other front and back of each page so it minimizes the ghosting. If you need a Bible with large print then this is it. This edition is called the Giant print edition. If your eyes aren't too bad then you could probably read it without your reading glasses on.At the back of this Bible is a section that is called "Treasury of Biblical information", probably why it is called a "Study Bible", It has all kinds of lists and a few articles about the Bible and why you can have faith in it. The lists are ones like: Bible Stories of the Bible, Genealogical Chart, Biblical Symbolism, Miracles of the Bible, Harmony of the Gospels, What Jesus taught, Parables of Our Lord, Names and Titles of Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit Titles and Work, Messianic Prophecies, Events of the Bible. The Concordance is a 'Topical Concordance', which means the words are sorted into topics where there are enough to sort. All in all it is worth the money spent. This Bible you can use with confidence. It won't fall apart, it is based on the KJV Bible, and the price is low enough you can take it with you anywhere without being afraid of losing a fortune if you leave it somewhere, or find someone that needs a Bible. Just buy another one.

very nice bible
I love the print and feeling of the pages. Well worth the money. The reference pages help with understanding the Bible meaning as it was meant to be not just someone's twisted version.

Wonderful Family Bible
This Bible is beautiful and an excellent accurate version translated from the original languages, only modernized, but Not altered like most modern versions. The print is too large for me, however, it is an excellent family Bible. I don't like the underlining of some words but I understand the value of why it's been done.

Nice Bible, Easily Readable Larger Print
Very nice Bible with excellent concordance and very readable larger text. Page tabs would have been a nice added feature, but I ordered them separately and placed them in the Bible and they work great.
