Amazing!!!
This tool means business! I've been trying to find a way to release my psoas muscle for years. I've seen numerous massage therapists and had only found one who could get deep enough and apply enough pressure to do the trick, but my psoas would return to its original tightness within a few days I can't afford a massage every time I need my psoas released. This wedge really does the trick! I've only had it for a couple of days now and I've used it twice, both times with phenomenal results. I need to be careful not to overdo it, but I gotta say, when you get that release it's extremely addictive. It is not only a physical, muscular release, but can be a very emotional release as well as the psoas muscle carries a lot of stress-related tension from withdrawing inward at your core, be it from work and sitting all day, or from hunching over constantly. I seem to have a lot more tension on the right side from what I believe is related to driving for long periods and engaging certain muscles while pressing down on the gas and brakes. There was another product I considered getting called the Pso Right, but it engages both psoas muscles simultaneously which seems like it would be way too intense. This one only works one at a time, which is already very intense as is. I like that or gives you the ability to rock side to side and front to back. There are any also instructions for knee and arm extensions while using this product, which if do, be sure to breathe through it as instructed. It is very intense!I've got a whole arsenal of myofascial release tools and I've got to say that this one is definitely my new favorite! Every part of your body is connected to your core, and if your core is right, no amount of peripheral myofascial release is ever going to hold. Myofascial unwinding of the psoas is so essential and so foundational in being able to access myofascial unwinding in the rest of your body.If you are on the fence about getting this product, don't be. Go ahead and get it - you won't be sorry!

Thank you
I write very few reviews but had to share my experience . I have been in pain for weeks with low back, Right hip and left knee. I have been seeing a chiropractor for weeks with little relief. I remember my former chiropractor in another state would release my psoas muscle and I would not need to see him for months. I ordered this and I’m so glad I did. I used this tool twice yesterday and I am walking without pain. Yes, releasing that muscle is painful but this tool is highly effective in doing the job. I am 54, obese and I can tell you that this product works!

Didn't work for me
I found it painful to use... let alone hope for back pain relief. I'm sure the concept is solid, but perhaps this is better suited for athletes and those familiar with muscle group training and conditioning.

Not for the faint of heart
I’m hoping this review is one that I’ll update down the road as I get used to it.First off I’m not an athlete, I’m 60 and out of shape. I’m sick of the daily hip and back pain and my chiropractor keeps telling me that my psoas muscle is extremely tight and it’s the cause of my pain. He did recommend an $150 tool that basically does what this one should do. I was very excited to try this but it is extremely painful for me and it was quite a process for me to line up and figure out how to lay on it.This was my first try at it but I found that it’s important to get up on your forearms and slowly lower yourself on the correct area. It’s true, once you get past that initial pain you’ll suddenly feel a release. Hopefully this will get easier as I try. For whatever reason I find it harder to do on one side than the other.Another really important thing that you should do it drink a lot of water. I felt nauseated afterward. You’re releasing toxins as you release tight muscles, that’s why the chiropractor and massage therapists remind us to drink a lot of water after a session or adjustment.I’m very hopeful with this but my review is based on my first experience. It’s not the easiest to use.

Great Tool for releasing pain and Great Value
I bought this product to help release back pain from sitting at a computer all day and when it arrived I found it to be a very unique looking tool. Because of its uniqueness, I wasn’t sure how it worked but the manual and instructions provided made it easy to understand how to use it. After using it, I felt a release of tension in my lower back and strongly believe I have now found a solution to relieve back pain. Thank you for helping me save money on chiropractic services and relieving my pain.

Doesn’t seem sturdy enough to do anything.
I was looking for an alternative to the overly expensive “hip hook” and this is not it. If you know you know.

Great for relieving lower back pain
I found out about the psoas muscle group about 5 years ago after a long and painful 4-5 month stretch of lower back pain. That’s typically how a tight psoas muscle manifests itself - persistent, dull, lower back pain. Experienced massage therapists know how to dig in deep into your abdominals and relieve the tight psoas muscle but what if this happens virtually after every run or several times a week just because you sit all day.... that is me and I am quite sure I am not entirely unique here. This wedge device is quite effective in getting you relief. For those who are already aware of the psoas muscle and its vast influence on your body, you would know that trying to mimic the experienced massage therapist and massage the psoas yourself is awfully hard. You can’t quite apply the necessary power that the massage person has standing over you. But this device reverses the position. Your own body weight helps you dig in deep and also controls how deep you dig in. I’ve been using the wedge successfully now for a few weeks and I give it very high marks. Even better, my highly experienced sports massage therapist gives it a five star rating and two thumbs up. If you sit all day, run or try to be active in your free time, you are very likely to need to stretch the psoas frequently or occasionally. The wedge will help you relieve pain and tightness.
