I am 6ft, 267lbs. Work out 6x per week weight training with low level cardio after each session. I have never known what it is like to not be completely wrecked the day after a good workout until I started taking EAA's before and after a weight training session. I take 5-6 capsules (5-6 grams) 30min before a lifting session and 5-6 capsules after. I also take 3g of HMBc a day (1.5 g in the morning with my creatine and 1.5g with my preworkout). Lot's of good science behind taking additional EAA's and the improvement of absorption by HMB. I don't buy the premixed stuff, just buy quality supplements and stack them how you best feel. I like this brand because they actually list the amount of EAA's as opposed to competitors who just put "proprietary blend" and could be giving you literally nothing of value. When you are on a caloric deficit getting these incorporated into your nutrition is a must when trying to recomp/build muscle.

Just started going to the gym again amd these definitely helped with muscle soreness during the first week.

I devised my own vitamin/amino acid/herbal/assorted vile tasting capsules full of expensive nonsense to help my 67 year old skin look like it did at 55. Uh-huh. I read all I could stand to read... mostly information from the back of skin firming, deep wrinkle removing, life altering, over priced jars ranging in price from $14.40 to $240 a jar !!! Bull !!! Point. I have plastic jars of Amino Acids, Saw Palmetto, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Collagen, a multi-vitamin for women over 50, eye vitamins and Vitamin A. I am three weeks into an unhappy ..... but, determined.... regimen to revitalize my skin (because I cannot afford 6 simple tucks! And, sadly, neither Medicare nor BCross/BShield believe my seeing a person I do not know in my mirror is Okie-dokie! Yes. Women sitting alone in the dark weeping and contemplating the end of life as they have known it is fine... as long as we continue to do our chores, the chores of any child still at home (Thank God!), stay in the house & for the love of God do something about our memory! AAARRRGGGGG!!! Sorry. I am unhappy because I do not understand why vitamins/herbal-remedies/odd-&-or-exotic miracle powders must always smell and taste like garbage. And, why is it necessary to take three of the horse-sized things? 13 of the ruddy things in total every evening! Evening ---- because I can't take everything without having quite a bit on my stomach and that needs to be my second meal of the day. Other than my rabid complaining..... these are quite good Amino Acid caps. I bought every bottle of Ugh!nastypills only after checking the quantity of the active ingredient(s) offered, discovering (using independent medical journals) how much of the active ingredient is truly necessary for results --- if you are one of the group for which this may work ----& at what quantity (mcg, mg,etc...) does the primary ingredient cease to be metabolized and begin to be expelled as simple waste... yes... those numbers are a tad disconcerting. But, nothing to do with this. If you want a wide and varied range of amino acids at one of the best prices out there ---- These capsules are the way to go. Just remember: Fruits and vegetables are excellent sources of amino acids. To your health!
