Grower's Edge Illuminated Microscope, 60x - 100x

For the price, you can't go wrong. I bought it for examination of plants, to determine readiness for harvest. It's so small and portable, I'd carry it in a pocket and check plants here and there. And then I had fun inside looking at all kinds of things under it. The desktop ones are neat, but whatever you look at needs to be on a slide; this little scope you can put on a standing object, plant, picture on wall, whatever.I managed to set it up so I could photograph the images from the scope through my iPhone. Worked well, too, with patience. Photos were taken through scope/iPhone set up. Close up of plant parts, and a dollar bill.Seriously, for the price, it's great. There are stronger, better made and therefore more expensive microscopes, but if it's just for what I was using it for, it's perfect. Or even just for fun, for a kid or adult.

This product from Grower's Edge is not recommended by me. No directions which made it impossible for me to use. Was I missing something? Could not figure out how to use it.

This little guy is a-ma-zing. It's truly a hand held microscope. The light is bright and doesn't throw shadows. There is a learning curve tho. Because it is so small, the slightest movement (as you're looking through it) can take you off the area you were inspecting and it is difficult, to say the least, to find the area you were just looking at. This little hummer lets you see exactly what is happening with those Trichome. Are they milky? Clear? All the way to amber? I anticipate it will be excellent for sexing. I still have a hard time differentiating and this baby lets you see the facts m'am, just the facts. This tool is a must have for any indoor gardener. It tells you very specifically when to harvest and whether or not you have mold/fungus, if you know what you are looking for at any rate.

Not easily customer friendly, viewing wayyyy to tiny. Very hard to use single handed while holding leafs

I wear glasses and couldn’t get my eye close enough to the lens with them on to see and I am unable to see detail through the scope without my glasses.

Microscope has to be pressed against whatever ur looking at but great quality picture once u get it dialed in

The zoom and focus is horrible. They advertise like this is a one hand thing but you need two hands to use properly. One led light, why so many batteries

The product is flimsy and doesn't work. Only a black haze visible through the lens, regardless of adjustment.
