High quality. Not an edge on which to nick yourself. The contact areas of both hard, strong handles are faced with ribbed, rubber coverings to ensure a good grip and less wear and tear on your fingers. The pressure-regulating screw is solid and works smoothly. Four unique ways to use and benefit from this design: right-side up, up-side down, forwards or backwards. (Both arm bones broken at the wrist, too close to plate and screw. Surgeon screwed a "fixator" (bridge) onto arm and hand, with skewers X'd through the bone near the wrist. Couldn't move fingers without tearing skin around screws. The result: eight weeks later my finger and hand muscles had atrophied to the point that I couldn't even come close to touching my forefinger to my thumb. Eighteen months later, I still wake with a stiff hand requiring self-therapy. I already know this tool is going to help; it does so much much more than me just folding my fingers over tightly. And I've gotten pretty creative with it, finding more than 4 ways to use it: single or pairs of fingers; high or low, etcetera. Thank goodness that it begins at my current limit, 11 pounds. BONUS: I can now use my right hand fulltime for other things! :o) I'm going to get my hand fully back—good luck with your rehab. PS: I have no idea why the nice bag; but I'm a pack-rat—so says my wife—who'll eventually find a good use for it.

I bought two of these so I could use both at once. They arrived about two weeks ago and I have been using them every day since then. They work well and are easy to use.The adjustments to increase or decrease the pull strength work well and the adjustments do make a real difference in the amount of pressure required to use them.I've been using them several times per day and I believe using these has resulted in increased hand and finger strength. I would recommend these to anyone who wanted to increase hand strength.

Good value. Well made . Easily adjustable. Smooth action. A little large for many hands but fine for average or large hands.

After using it for a couple of weeks my hands are already noticeably stronger. I got this because I was beginning to have as much trouble holding weights during my weight lifting as I was lifting the weights when I increased the weight on my highest weight exercises. It's already better, and I've already increased the tension on the grip strength trainer a couple of times as my hands have gotten stronger.It feels like its well built, and the weight range for me is effectively infinite (I'm doing 100 reps per hand, and I doubt I'll ever get to 100lbs no matter how long I use the thing ;) I'll update my review if/when the things breaks.

This works very well as a hand grip strengthener. As I've aged, my hands have become weaker. I use this on the lowest setting (11 Lbs) and it's just what I need. I like to use it when I'm watching sports! Great product. Recommend!

The grip strength trainer is easily adjustable as advertised and well made. It is comfortable to use and the styling is very good. It came in a box with fully illustrated features and included a very nice drawstring bag.

I was experiencing some weakness in my pick fingers with the guitar. And also some issues in my left wrist. Those issues are pretty much gone now. And what's really great about this product is that it is adjustable. Comfortable to use. And convenient. You can use this while your watching TV and or reading a book. I am 77 and can use all the help I can get and this was the exact right product for me. I hope this helps you decide. Good luck!

My little finger straddled the end of the grip so it was sore after doing about 40 reps. So I needed to have the handle to be about .5" longer. I was not concerned about its compactness so that it would fit in my pocket. Otherwise, it would have been a good purchase for the low price. The info did not identify the length of just the handle, only specified the overall height and width of the entire device.

I needed something to help maintain the strength in my arthritic hands. The adjustable mechanism is important to me, and it works as adbvertized. In addition, it's comfortable to hold and appears to be of relatively sturdy construction.
